That other group of people are giving me a headache...
Did you like the Denver- Dallas shoot out Romo 500 yards of passing, wiped out...
The shootouts that we have been seeing remind me of the old AFL, I can still picture Alworth and Hadl piling up points and yards. Not at a Baylor pace but impressive all the same

I thought Broncos-Cowboys and Seahawks-Colts games were both the games of the week....in fact i just watched the Colts win on NFL replay....Romo and Russell Wilson both got screwed on picks, where the recievers should have come toward the ball.....BTW, not to interfere or anything, but your one of the good guys and you are wasteing your talents on the US and Politics forums.....Cat, Jimbo and several others, are the signal to move on, not debate the special ed kids......just saying.....

Romo chose the covered man on his pick. there was a check down available he stuck with his primary. If he would have just thrown it away. Romo has a history of playing so good for most of a game and then melting down. He may be on his last go around with the Cowboys...
Hey you are definately one of the good guys too on those other pages. Other then TEAMAN I haven't seen any one from that side of the divide that appears to be thinking, who seems to understand why he is what he is.. Which I think is probabily a good representation of the whole lot of them nationwide. There are a few on our side nearly as vacant.
What I do takes a couple hours a day of reading, and maybe an hour of schmooze. I have to pay attention to the ups and downs of a half dozen companies...I got too much extra time inbetween...maybe i should have been a kindergarten teacher

I still say, Romo's young TE, shoulda come toward the ball.....2-3 year TE's know to do that, like blocking out in Hoops.....Your right about the politics, though i don't know of Teaman?....What bother's me most, is that they continually lie, about the events of our economic recovery, as they just can't accept, this administration pulling it off, despite this House's treachery.....McCain and the elders of the GOP, might be ready to amputate the teaparty....lol...See Ya, in the Funnypapers.....

The guy could have come back to the ball and maybe broke it up but Romo has two safe choices. I could see him missing the back out of the backfield but failing to throw it away is harder to accept. If it were a rookie you would say well he'll learn Romo is a vet and he has all the talent in the world.
So you tell our friends over there that water is wet. They tell you your wrong.
You lead the to water, they call you a communist.
You dunk their heads under the water... When you let them up you ask them ..."Well was it wet?.....
They say yes ...it's wet,...but it's not water...

11 1\2 point favorites v. Western Michigan on Saturday this team just might be the best we have had here. If they win it will be legitimate to say bowl and Buffalo in the same sentence.
We have had one bowl game a few years back in Toronto...A short ride. It was pleasant but Mobile Alabama would be a nicer trip.
Visited Cardio and pain management. Usually Cardio tells me stuff I don't want to hear. This time was better. If pain Management can assist I might be able to go to the bowl... but I am getting ahead of my self, just continue winning boys.
Eric G. put on an MVP performance on the other page. He did a great job.

Even though it was great the Bears won....hard to figure out, what is happening with Eli....very un-Manning like....Seem's the Giants have enough horses, in order to be playing better?......We are at Penn State....still feel the Nittany Lions got royally screwed by the NCAA....not sure they even had the right to do that, since the incident was criminal and handled as thus.........

Eli and the Giants is a tough one to figure, it is very un-Manning-like . I think some parts of the team have gone down hill with age and injury and the haven't been in a position to fill those holes through the draft, and the old stars draw enough salary to make it hard for the Giants to sign the top notch O & D linemen they seem to be missing.
They are like Pittsburg they are being punished by the salary cap system for being too good for too long.
On Saturday, Oregon v. Washington could be fun.
What happened at Penn State was an awful shame, but i disagree on the question of what the NCAA has the right to do...they have the right to punish a member school in almost any fashion that is more or less constant with the NCAA's past history. A think that they were covering themselves, PR wise.

That's funny...when i saw this reply i was gonna mention Oregon v Washington...a fascinating, especially since it is at normal time for us...lol...We'll likely not see eye to eye on NCAA....i think they have been a reactionary mess for years, uneven and way too heavy handed....Penn State was way too penalized($60 MILLION)by them, especially for something that did'nt have a direct connection to any of the sports, the NCAA has jurisdiction over.......What finished me on them, was that they had a reprimand for Johnny Manziel....but had his signed helmet on the NCAA site for $500......

I think that they aught to pay the players. The joke is that the NCAA is willing to pretend that they aren't the NFL's minor league system... The images and likeness of the players can be sold to EA and the players get stiffed...also....When a program is penalized the coach who was in charge should carry those penalties to the next job and the Team should be off the hook the moment the guilt coach leaves, unless there is evidence the school covered up...permenet expulsion for coaches that are repeaters....they wont starve the nfl will hire them.
At Penn State there was a big lack of oversight on the Universities part JoPa was god and even though there was ample reason to know that Joe was turning a blind eye the administration didn't respond properly. You could make a point that the penaties were vindictive, but the University was lax

Joe Pa stayed way too long...kinda like Bobby Bowden did.....weird thing is, was'nt the badguy, Sandusky actually the defensive genius, everyone spoke of when they spoke of Linebacker U? Ugliest uniforms in College football?.....

Sandusky was the defensive genius and he was there for 32 years as a coach. Bowden may have stayed a year or two too many (Mack Brown?) but there is nothing other than a series of 7 win seasons to shame him. JoPa will have Sandusky's sin weigh down his legend.
We saw Penn State uniforms on the Bulls for about 5 years, they won maybe 15 games wearing them so you betcha we got sick of looking at them. It was weird because JoPa gave his ex- offensive line coach Craig Cirbus a game . Both Buffalo and Penn State wearing identical uniforms except for shirt color.
My pick for ugliest uniforms might still be Maryland.
My wife watches with me on saturday nite she picks her team by the uniform
My wifes rules...

Michigans a still great, i think...best helmet.... and mayybbee Notre Dame are the best of the old school uniforms....i recall a game i watched once, possibly with Montana...where Notre Dame was down to USC, then they came out after half, in their green jerseys...the crowd went nuts and they actually won the game....I've never forgotten that game....

I like Michigan's threads. the wife is not fond of the helmet. She always ends up picking Alabama , Oklahoma and such.
Buffalo 33-0 it was 6-0 at the half and by the start of the 4th the bench was emptying. When they are not playing Baylor the 'D' can be dominating.
Lot of good ball right now Kansas State has a lead on Baylor at the start of the 4th.
Clemson 17- 14 Boston
Oregon is up on Washington 28-14.
Michigan is in trouble

You were right about Buffalo...is Northern Illinois in that conference?.....Michigan lost, but it was a fascinating game, they controlled their demise....I watched Oregon-Washington....believe me, Oregon's offense is a well oiled machine...on sportscenter they were saying, how they average 17 seconds, between plays....lol...Too bad about Manzeil, eh?....

Northern Ilinois is in the confrence. They are in the west dividion, we are in the east so thank goodness we don't play them every year, surprised to see they struggled a bit with Akron they aren't that good a team.
Michigan was and the incredible Penn State drive to tie and after Michigan almost winning it that is why we watch
How about a bowl game with Oregon v. Baylor that game could be fun to see
Buffalo has 4 wins 3 more and they should go to some bowl somewhere.
The Bills ...tomorrow they play with a qb. they picked up at a garage sale could be ruff.

If i were delusional enough to expect a Super Bowl this year ...I would be as bad as a tea head. i had season tickets back before Jim Kelly arrived 2-14 year after year so, It isn't the fact that we will miss the playoffs again...It's just you get tired of that team crapping it's pants year after year. Spiller may be out as well.

Michigan - Penn St. was a great game I don't blame you for being upset...but that was fun to watch.
Hoping for Manziel to have a serious injury....come on.
His mom was watching...hope for him to throw 6 interceptions but not get seriously hurt. I hope he has a bad game or two in him.

Next week we host UMass who won their first of the year v. Miami of ohio

That isn't what i was saying about Manziel....what they did was announce his knee injury, then never came back to say he was okay.....Your right about Michigan...i don't get near as hyper as when younger.....I think this weird NFL, Redzone has something to do with, just appreciating the game for what it is.....if that makes any sense?.....Plus in the pros, i have started to pull for the Broncos, cause Peyton is the Qb.....

"I don't get near as hyper as when I was younger"
When I was in school i was rabid and delusional I had my self believing the NHL was around the next corner. Then after I played against some guys who would get to be paid to play. I knew there was a talent gap undetered by reality i only worked on the game, became a bit of a nasty defensive specialist. was tossed from school and still put playing on a pedestal. Played till I was 41 in various local leagues. i was unpleasnant when it came to almost anything competitive.
Then i got hooked up with a friend and we founded a baseball league handicapped kids. Our son has C.P.
I learned more from those kids then from any teacher i had ever studied under.
Now i can accept loss and set back...
And enjoy the game for the joy of it.
