You have to watch ESPN's Sportscenter today.....that impressionist, Frank Calliendo does a bit that is incredible...Gruden, Bernstein, Jaworski...He is incredible ....Thanks for Tommy...He had an older brother Frank...also fought in Vietnam and drank himself to death, years ago.....People easily forget, just how bad Vietnam was for so many....Did i tell you, in a show about evidence that might have changed history.....Evidently Ho Chi Minh, in 1946 tried to contact Truman about help, forming some form of democracy for his people in Indochine.....and Truman's aides at the time, had him disregard the communication.....Can you even fathom, what that might have meant?......I have been lucky to travel the globe, and Asia is the most mysterious...to this day, though i haven't been there in 4 years.....Keep dreaming about Germany and that Munich Beer Garden...lol....Life's short, eh?.....

Blue...life is short....A temporary state of grace that exists between two impenetrable voids...It is no wonder we ponder our existentialism...My thoughts on the topic became far more focused 2000-01 in a16 month span I lost brother, father and mother...When I talk to my sister we always go back to that time when we are optimistic it seems so distant...Sometimes it feels that I am still there...But life does offer compensation if you take it...Me and my sister were strangers for 40 years...Now we are closer...and that feels good...
My friend...May you live long and lucky...
Truman was so uptight about being label soft on communism that he passed on a historic opertunity...Harry soft on reality is far more acidic title...That same mentality has plagued the Middle East...Listen to the far right religeous parties in Israel...

Bull, I've been going through stuff with my local Honda Service...about 4 months ago, i had an oil change and asked if i needed tires, like a chorus they all said yes...one guy even said i needed a new battery...lol....scammy.....So , 6 weeks ago i ordered new tires thru Tirerack online....Today, i had them installed..$100 mounted and balanced.....Unfortunately at the grocery, i noticed they did'nt put the center caps, back on the alloys....Oh, well...at least i caught it before getting home.....Yokohama's with a 720 treadwear rating, should get way, way past 18,000 miles BTW, the battery has yet to skip a beat...lol....Sorry you lost so much, and all together...Often couples that are very close, pass on, close to eachother....i just have my dad left, and our relationship isn't as good as it should be.....Sadly my heritage is N.European coldness and extremely stubborn.....Saw Blackhawks at Ducks tonite....probably past our bedtime...lol...

Blackhawks and Ducks...I might try to stay up...We have to perfect our insomnia the Olympic Games will be on late...CBC had a bit on Sochi it a pretty place but to still feel uneasy about it...Most of my cars upkeep and repair is done by a guy who I have known for thirty years...It is good to know that it's done right and I am not driving away feeling robbed...That is big ... You mention about couples often going close together..true but I don't think they spoke since the Johnson administration...We just look at it as just dumb luck..We are getting hammered today ... 6 inches down with a nice gusty breeze weather man says more through the night...And it's that heavy wet snow...The kid with the snow blower came by...At least I hope it was him not his dad this time.... It's worth the money...

I looked on NBC Sport and NHL Channel, but only saw Penguins-Sabers.....Hope you can take them.....Oh well, i am thinking games in Anaheim have to start at 10-11 PM, our time.....This is Wednesday and we watch, Modern Family...have you guys seen that?....I was talking to a couple at Honda. from Montreal.....they were extremely happy snowbirds....Sorry, you guys are getting such a pasting....Bull, maybe i think differently, because i was alway's used to being mobile, and living all over, but.....i wonder how some of these people can remain up north.....especially with a winter like this, coupled with the propane/fuel oil prices?......Now, there is news outta California, that their drought has been so bad that some areas are gonna just run out.....Man, that's some scary stuff, eh?......You're lucky to have mechanic friend...my first wife's dad was the front end specialist at the largest Ford dealer in Ft. Lauderdale...he used to put his hand on my Mustang's hood...I'd start it and in 30 seconds, he would tell me what to go get....lol....God i loved him.....those guy's are a dying breed.....

We don't watch very much TV..The wife watches some crime show on Wed. but other than news or sports the boob tube is seldom lit up...I have heard good things about modern family...Used to watch breaking bad...This winter has been tough...I remeber a few that were worse temperature and snow wise..another month and some change and thing will look better...The Sabres looked bad...They just do not have the talent to keep pace with a good team like Pittsburg...Sad Fact is ...if there were a seven game series between the sabres and their developmental team... Rochester & the Jr's..The Sabres might not win...They get good to great goaltending every night from Miller and Enroth...With out that they might never win..as bad a team as there has been in years...
Those mechanic's are a dying breed...A year ago we went to a concert in Rochester on the way back I hit a coyote...instantly the check engine light comes on...Next morning I take the car to him...he looks it over and plugs some wire back in...check engine light is out...No charge...I came back with a cigar and a case of Labatt's..he could have skinned me...

You have coyotes in Buffalo?....We have panthers/cougars down here, but i have only ever seen a dead one, on the highway......Your deal with the Sabres is alot like so many small market fans....Imagine in the NFL, being a Jaguar, Chargers, Lions fan? And the Lions even have cool uniforms...lol....I know what you mean about TV, i think my dad just watches Blue Bloods, about cops i think.....We have so many channels we find some weird shows....Newest is, The Amazing Dr. Pol.....about a country vet, in Weidman, Michigan...it's on NatGeo Wild channel....you could see it on youtube, i would think....it is fascinating.....I've tuned out alot of the sports talk, i usually listen to in the backround, as i am growing leary of all the Legacy talk.....they fill space with BS like that....lol....Pittsburgh is awful good, eh?...in the NHL, it seems them, Chicago, Boston, LA and Anaheim are the powers...correct?

The Coyote was hit half way between Rochester and Buffalo..a 60 mile ride...Took the back roads that wind their way through the large patch of farms the lie between...But Blue we have seen deer within the city limits..they survive mainly keeping to some brownfields...So a coyote in side the city is possible...In NHL this year...you got 3 of the 4 powers right LA is a bit off the pace and Pittsburg is a contender...On the way up Colorado, St. Louis and Tampa... Canada's hope's Montreal and Toronto...But let's say there were to be a trade that moved Miller to St.Louis or to Pheonix or most of all Toronto...Instant contender...
As far as it goes in Buffalo the team sucks everyone knew it comming into the year, something like 97% season tickets renewed...It is more possible for a small market team to win Cup than a Super Bowl...
Until the combine all NFL talk is blabber...opinions...One TV show that I do enjoy watching is River Monsters on Animal Planet...They drop this guy into the remotest places on the planet and he huff's in some beasts that would scare the crap out of the biggest muskie...

If you or your friends have small-medium sized dogs, you would have to be very careful of Coyotes getting them....i was on a thread about pets taken in California.....Does'nt Colorado have ex-Montreal goalie, Patrick Roy at Coach? I loved that guy's game....Yeah, i've seen Toronto play, and they don't seem that far away....Would be good to see Montreal or Toronto get back up there....Tampa, Green Bay, New Orleans and Pittsburgh have all won Superbowls......Saw a mock draft that had Buffalo getting either a Clemson WR or Bruce Matthew's son, a tackle from Texas A&M....if he is anything like his dad?...Bruce started for Oilers/Titans, like 19-20 years and was a yearly all-pro.....Should'nt all the Matthews be forced to sperm banks occasionally, so that large women in Iowa and Oklahoma might be able to replenish our favorite teams?.....Sure, next thing they will say is that's...TOO PROGRESSIVE.....lol....I've seen River Monsters, and it's good...We like, Too Cute on AP, about the different breeds of puppies....BTW, what do treehouses have to do with Animal Planet?

I have no idea what tree houses have to do with animals...The Matthews forced into sperm banks...Deutchland uber alles...That idea is so East German circa. 1970...Remember some of the women their olympic teams would field?...
The Bills could use a second WR I would prefer Evans from Texas A&M..The bills got their LT in place you don't spend a high pick on a RT...the next position of need after WR is LB...Those mock drafts seem to like putting my guy Mack in Tampa...He is a Fla born kid so he might like it there..
In that same time frame Pittsburg, Tampa and Caroina have won cups... and Buffalo, Carolina, Calgary, Edmonton and Ottawa have made it to the final and lost...In hockey a smaller market team can have a local TV deal that is better than a big market team and it's attendance might be superior...NFL shares those revenues...

Actually, i would think the Matthews deal, would be more circa 1936 Germany.....just because of their atrocities, does'nt mean all their ideas were bad.....East German reminds me of Jim Carrey on, Living Color...doing the skit about the E. German female track star....lol...that guy is so talented, eh?....Geez, i missed Carolina winning the Cup....Dolphins could actually use Matthews, especially if Martin is too weird, to come back....He was a #2 pick, what a bitch....Wonder if Seattle is considered small market....i did'nt think it was very large, when we were there.....Vancouver either....Edmonton won a boatload with Gretsky was there....Did you see on the news about the Taliban capturing one of the Brit's K-9's?....i hate stuff like that...we should all just leave....we should have after Karzai's 36th lie.....the corrupt bastard....

when ever the idea of setting an exit date is brought up the counter arguement is...the Taliban will just wait until we leave... if the country can't be governed by the Afgani's, the current gov't corruption is proof, then our being there serves no purpose...If you can not see a credible gov't in Kabul soon then no matter when it is that we pull out we will face the same conditions...We have nothing to gain...The Dolphins need some O-Line help and you don't want to say it but Martin may not be any better this comming year...but ..the Fins will be stuck with him...But it Mattews is there grab him Tanneyhill need some time to throw... The size of the maket in football is absolutely tied to the size of the city...In the NHL some southern cities are 'smaller markets than the cities size indicates... Phoenix & Florida play in front of a lot of empty seats... a bigger portion of a hockey teams revenue is generated by attendance and local media contracts

We've only ever been to one Panther game and the Bull Riding at the same venue....They have a beautiful arena, and it was filled that one time, but they are pretty bad now.....Just talked to a buddy i worked with years ago...told me i should have a CCW, but i am too afraid that i might lose it sometime out on the road...it's not for everyone....He lived in Atlanta for years, and has a black crime thing.....He is originally from Buffalo, but has been gone decades....Yeah, your right about the Dolphins, and FYI...i just call them, Fins...lol...Like Bills.....Are you into the Olympics at all?...I like the Downhill and Combined, the Halfpipe with Shaun White...the Hockey...some of the speed skating, even some figure skating....Guess that the accommodations are kinda poor, at least the press has been bitching....About Florida, Phoenix and SoCal in sports....there are too many options....it's not like freezing in Detroit....lol....or Green Bay....

I like the Winter Olympics...The summer games not so much...I like Downhill skiing, hockey, Luge ect...My point on North v. south in terms of hockey markets...The Panthers can't draw flies...The Sabres far worse a team sell every seat for every game...Same thing with Phoenix...to an extent Carolina as well...I would pass on CCW....It's not a pathology regarding guns...I have a rifle in the attic..havent hunted in years.. Have shot a handgun at a range a few times since...my marksmanship rating...side of a barn...big barn...lol...How threatened do you feel?...I feel like while I would like it if I ever needed it...more likely, having it would just add a little touch of paranoia...I think that i may be a problem in waiting as opposed to the solution to a problem in waiting...

Too bad about Christie really...he was one of the only, likable republicans around....GOP is so absent of character and honor....About north/south in hockey, you failed to comprehend the end of my last post....in early Feb., in Buffalo...entertainment options are few....in Miami, they are many......Also, many down here fail to adapt to a new team...Oh ya, they will go if the Rangers or Bruins come to town.....Even myself, being a lifelong Bears/Raiders fan, i have only felt myself, a "kinda" Dolphin fan...If that makes sense?......CCW probably isn't a good idea for me, as you say.....too good of a chance of something going wrong,,,,We ended up watching some of Opening Ceremony, with large doses of International House Hunters...lol....Hope your weathering the storms, as another one approaches.....watching the weatherman, you get alot of the same stuff, that Chicago gets.....

I didn't fail to understand...I am claiming if Buffalo had warmer weather...there still would be 18,500 tickets sold for every game... Like Detroit the proximity to Canada has two effects...The Canadians will buy tickets...And the hockey fans in these two cities have a healthy cross border hockey tradition...Blue, if I took you to a Leafs game here you would understand.
I thought that the opening ceremonies were really entertaining...the Russians went all out with the special effects...Some of the things they did left you wondering how did they do that...The wife and I really enjoyed the whole show...
I always am a Bills\Sabres guy but I always have other teams or players I like to watch play...Montreal..was a big Gainey fan growing up...Love to watch Crosby...I think Tampa is for real...Green Bay...Bart Starr fan as a kid...
We get what Chicago and Detroit had yesterday...This is the worst winter in years...I would have loved it if i was a couple decades younger...You ever ski?

Hard to believe that Bermuda wore their traditional shorts, in 40 degrees....even tho, i wear shorts when it is pretty cold down here....everyone thinks i am a tourist from Minnesota....lol....We are kinda alike in....I was a Bruin fan when Bobby Orr played, and a Canadian fan when Guy LeFleur was there...I like Bob Gainey too.....I've known several of the Fins over the years, so you just kinda become the team's fan.....even though some of their decisions were horrid....like Culpepper over Brees.....Trading Welker and even worse was...to a team in your division....beyond dumb.....Too bad, Parcells stopped being a consultant, because he was Heizinga's friend and he sold the team.....Met the nicest couple from Montreal at the dealership....My dad used to fly all over and told me once, Montreal has the most beautiful women....but, they are bitchy as hell...lol....We are gonna try losing weight, by substituting cereal, instead of ice cream at night....

Bermuda's get up was interesting, The Germans were a bit on the gaudy side...The wife picked them as worst dressed...The sweaters the USA had on had a retro feel I thought they were OK wife no so much. One thing we can't figure out was those girls in white escorting the national teams as they were introduced...The bronze head dress was stunning in a WTF kind of way...That chunk of plastic that wrapped around them was really a puzzler...
Maybe the women in Montreal were a bit bitchy because your dad was an anglophile...Them French Canadians...they can be really proud of the French part....
I couldn't give up ice cream...Poot my youngest cat goes nuts for it...they is nothing like spending some quality time with a pretty girl and a bowl of french vanilla

Those Russian Amazons(6'3"?) are the hotty, Ice Queens.....Putin is a man, afterall...God bless those girls....lol....I kinda liked the USA outfits, by Polo, a bit reminicant of Gatsby...and i even had an aunt that was capable of knitting sweaters like that, and even more garish.....We love ice cream too...specifically, Blue Bell......strawberry or Pistachio-Almond....I also love Peppermint, but it's only made around Christmas.....Our two dogs, lick the bowls after, and it's a tradition...i have a chocolate lab that's a foodie...lol....we think she might have slept thru a meal, as a puppy.....and has never forgotten it since....lol....we got pick of the litter, and she just seemed fattest and happiest, like me.....You asked if i had skied...just on water, briefly at 12-13.....i snorkeled since i was like 7....Put Red Reef beach in Boca Raton on your bucket list....fave easy spot for great snorkeling....right along the shore, a rock and coral outcropping into the surf....I have taken family from Michigan and California there, and they are blown away.....Today is the Downhill, closest i get to Indy Racing....

I woud love to have a knit sweater so outragously garish that Don Cherry would fall to his knee's in awe...The wife and I love his Hockey night in Canada bits...Your aunt is an artist...We have always had multiple pets...Rickey is a shep\collie..he spends his time with Isis a 5 year old dowager of a cat..."My" cats,Poot ( Sahara) and The lump (Buddy) hang out with me Poot is a year old rescued from some neglectful owner she is never more than 5 feet from me... The lump is an affectionate 18 lb tuxedo...Can't wait for the hockey to start up...and I hope we get a shot at Canada in a medal game...Saw the snow boarding...that was cool..caught bits of some of he other stuff...on CBC they are talking up a rumor of the US and Russian judges co-operatiing in figure skating..The girls are pleasant to look at ..don't care who wins...I have just now put diving or snorkeling on my list of things to do before the clock runs out.
