Stephanie Mikles, a behavioral specialist with the Harford County (Maryland) Schools.

A grand jury has indicted Mikles for “unnatural or perverted sexual practice,” reports WMAR-TV, the ABC affiliate in Baltimore. The indictment is short on details but it does allege that she had “sexual intercourse with a dog.”

This should come as no surprise considering our educational system has been actively promoting the sensitivity for beastiality among other deviance on our college campuses:

This is really desensitizing, not 'sensitivity'. Our society has become total morons in their bid to be politically correct and we have lost sight of the fact that there are some things that people SHOULD be 'unsensitive' and 'intolerant' of. It's really no surprise that our institutions of higher learning are promoting ideals such as bestiality, prostitution and incest; they've been promoting an 'anything goes' ideology for decades already. And people wonder why this country is going into the crapper. As Abraham Lincoln once observed: the classroom instruction of this generation is the politics of the next.

Well said, Vox. Excellent post. You'll get 3 dirty peanuts from the judge-it moron, but we need as much of your sense of right and wrong as we can get in this country right now.

I've been in education for 24 years now and never have I seen any education agenda promoting beastialty, prostituion or incest. I have no idea what you are talking about. If you're so against education then I suggest you home school your kids and enroll them in private colleges that are high on morality lessons and low on credentials.

I would suggest that a lot of "credentials" don't necessarily imply quality and responsible education. Vox was right on as the moral compass in this country is stuck on politically correct instead of holding people accountable for their actions. The education system has assisted in this drifting.

That's because they wait until the College level where parents really have no say anymore, and the "adults" are still young and impressionable.

Funny, Hillsdale is BOTH high on morality lessons AND credentials. Guess that blows your "private education" thoughts right out the window. And there's more but you're too condescending about private schools. It would be a waste of my time to list them.

Public schools are rotten to the core. Exhibit A of this is your poor spelling.

Public schools have zero discipline whatsoever.

If you're a teacher just the fact that you can't spell for shit explains why kids are getting dumber.

Being this ignorant, obviously the only reason you still have a job is thanks to the useless teachers union.

Really? What university do you teach at? I'm not against education; far from it. I'm against professors using their positions to push a liberal and 'anything goes' agenda and bash any idea that might be considered 'conservitive' or 'Christian'. If not, please explain why college students need sensitivity training that includes the subjects of bestiality, incest and prostitution. We're supposed to be 'sensitive' and 'tolerant' towards those who practice such things? That's not education, IMO..it's desensitization to shocking moral values. Then again, if you have no problem with teachers having sex with dogs and teaching their students that there's nothing wrong with that under the guise of 'education', you're one of those PC morons I referred to earlier who is stuck on stupid no matter how many letters you have after your name. Unfortunately, while education is the cure for ignorance, you just can't fix stupid.

It's one little liberal judgeit fanatic who's figured out how to hack the system. She's a pathetic little coward who has nothing intelligent to contribute. The fact she has to game the system to make it appear liberalism is the only popular view here speaks volumes for how insecure today's liberals have become.

If you doubt this, start giving our positive judgeits to conservative posters and watch them change to peanuts and spam before your very eyes :)

Mostly, we just ignore them anyway. but it is a fun example of the trickery required to prop up liberalism.

Did anyone actually read the article? The article seems to be anger porn that leads the reader to believe that this is a required course, and that most college students are taking it.

The linked article only said that Yale "hosted a workshop". It's not part of the curriculum, nor did it say that a Yale prof. was speaking. Reading the article from it's original source (the Yale website), it's revealed that only 55 people attended this workshop, which makes it really, really tiny.

Personally I would not want my kids to go to Yale, as they espouse morals that are different than what I've taught my children, but I don't like these kind of articles because they mislead people.

OK, but the article was titled, "Yale hosts workshop teaching sensitivity to bestiality". That's exactly what happened.

Whether 55 people showed up or 2, or 2002, it's the principle, or as you pointed out, the "morals espoused", that is important. I doubt parents are sending their kids to any college to have them sit in workshops discussing sensitivity to beastiality or other such disgusting and illegal depravities, therefore misleading headline or not, articles like this are important inform people of what is happening in our institutions of learning.

Dr. Dread:

Nope, still not buying your load of crap explanation. You and your bastard cousins Vox (dumber than a box of rocks) and Who, specifically, jumped radically to the notion that "the education system is actively promoting the sensitivity for beastiality among other deviance on our college campuses" ... Those are YOUR words precisely. And big box Vox -- "I'm against professors using their positions to push a liberal and 'anything goes' agenda and bash any idea that might be considered 'conservitive' or 'Christian'..." another JUMP IN LOGIC suggesting the Yale workshop is evidence that schools must be 'actively promoting' this stuff and is part and parcel of their curricula and liberal Agenda. How do you know this workshop wasn't pushed by conservatives? Conservatives or the Right don't engage in Bestiality or deviant sex? If you think that, your sadly mistaken. In any case your suggestions this is another example of a plot by the left to promote deviant sexuality or is being pushed by the education system in our colleges or universities is flat-out FALSE and just another example of pure bull $hit you and people like you are plastering on the web for SHOCK value. Get a f'ing life - your pie hole needs a rest.

Newsflash jackass, those freaks that go around with piercings looking like painted billboards are all LIBERAL. They look like that because their INSANE.

It's a testament to the liberal mantra of "do whatever you want, whenever you want and the consequences be damned because we'll just blame somebody else".
