Thank you a bazillion times for not playing Christmas music on Halloween afternoon!! When that was done last year, I switched stations for 3 months. Playing Christmas music way too early just makes the season so mundane and less special. By the time Christmas really arrives, I'm tired of it. It's much better to celebrate the seasons as they come. Thanksgiving gets the bum's rush as it is.

I agree. I don't know what FB&HW stand for, but you're correct in saying Tommy & Brook stink! They used to be on real early in the morning on the Christian station WCSG, and I did not like them then either. I don't know where they came from, Pluto maybe? I don't get up at 6 a.m. anymore, so I do not listen to anyone early morning now.
FB&HW stands for the Free Beer and Hot Wings Show. It's number one in GR (and a few outside markets regionally and nationally) by a landslide. Have a listen...unless you are offended easily. Overall I love the show though!

Anybody know how the Tigers fared this season? Hehehe...

I am a Christian, but Christmas music 24/7 starting before Thanksgiving is brutal. Mix it up with your usual good tunes, please! I always have Star 105.7 on, but, due to your 24/7 Christmas music this time of year, I tune in to another until the first of the year!

I love Christmas, and snow but have always hated Christmas music, except on Christmas day! I am not from the GR area and Ive noticed its the only area ive ever lived in that plays this music before Thanksgiving when it has not even snowed yet.
It is so asinine to me to hear about this. I've been wearing shorts & T shirts lately when not at work and driving with windows down because of how warm & sunny its been here lately! Christmas is the very last thing on my mind!!! I dont listen to much radio in West Michigan because most of it is awful, especially the ones that play Christmas music so early. Get a life if you purposely tune it on at this time of year!

Christmas music brings the feelings of the season, whether it be joy & excitement or anxiety & stress. Everyone's situation is different. Something like this puts things into perspective. Please try to keep in mind the real meaning of Christmas this holiday season, count your blessings, & do what you can to teach our children.... God bless you all as we begin this holiday season.

The only thing worse than Christmas music starting way before Thanksgiving, and even on multiple stations, is B-93's Neal & Reece!!!!!!! How much longer can these idiots be on the air???? I have yet to talk to anyone who claims to be a country music fan who says the tune into to these guys!
The sad thing is, the Thunder 94.5 morning show is just as lame and stupid.
West Michigan radio morning shows are all horrible with the lone exception being Free Beer & Hot Wings, they are funny!

Well, ahhh ... I listen to them. Between B93 and 94.5, I'll take B93.'Sides - I've won a lot of stuff from them.

I listen to some modern country, but the crap the FM radio plays is not real country anymore thats a fact. Traditionally most country radio morning shows are all very very lame, and B93 takes the cake with those 2 bafoons!

Anyways, back to topic, X-mas music before Thanksgiving is very asinine!

I say play Halloween songs until Halloween's over, Thanksgiving Day songs until Thanksgiving's over, and Xmas songs until Xmas is over. If you can't find enough Halloween or Thanksgiving songs, play Frank Zappa.

I don't want to sound like a Grinch or anything, but last week I went into Gemmen's in Hudsonville, and they were putting up Christmas trees and decorations already. Are we not pushing it a little?

105.7 is a terrible station, they are the worst when it comes to playing Christmas music way too early. It's certainly well within their right to play Christmas music whenever they want, but it's also stupid and annoying. Pretty soon there will no longer be a Christmas season, it will just be year-round obnoxious commercialization of what was once a special holiday. Now people stampede to the malls in their SUVs in September for Christmas sales and trample each other at Best Buy trying to get the latest iPhone.

ready, ready, ready for Christmas music.Love the older stuff,30's 40's.Brings back many wonderful memories of loved ones now gone.I too am a "closet Christmas lover"It's only commerical if that's what you choose to see in it.I don't let that toxic stuff into my heart.

I have always loved the Christmas Season--the music, lights on the houses, the decorations, shopping, and the magic feeling.

exactly

To the point they should play Marching patriotic songs at Christmas, and Carrels on the 4th of July.

Then they could be caught up all year long, hehe.....
