NECC is a drug compounding company that by order of Congress is not regulated by the FDA. Not just NECC. All drug compounding companies.
And no body knows just how many of these companies are out there. Because there is no oversight on them.

Just like every company that will do the best they can for their customers because their profitability hinges on it this one was compounding drugs one hundred feet from their other business, a recycling business.

Boy, 60 Minutes did a great job presenting just how much NECC put sales and profit, ahead of patient's safety, once again Greed is the motivator...i would think with the high number of deaths, their hierchy should be lawyering up.....

Large American companies are parking more of their profits overseas. A Wall Street Journal analysis found that 60 big companies shielded more than 40 percent of their annual profit from U.S. taxes. The five with the biggest offshore holdings are General Electric (GE), Microsoft (MSFT), and three pharmaceutical giants Pfizer (PFE), Merck (MRK) and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ).

oh look, three pharmaceutical giants are among the five with the biggest offshore holdings. Who would have guessed? Talk about greed and profits before the flag, apple pie and mother.

"Representatives for NECC, whose owners have been under criminal investigation for causing the meningitis outbreak, could not be reached for comment last night ..."

That's because they all crawled under a rock.(or left the country).

Haven't seen or heard yet who the owners/investors/executives are but the fact that NECC is based in Mass. However,I have to question if Romney is involved in some way seeing how he is big in the private equity/venture capital world (Bain Capital). If he is, at some point its going to come out and it won't surprise me in the least. Just read something where Mitt recently took a high level position with his son's venture capital firm in Boston. Its called Keeping It In the Family.

Medicare itself only covers a limited amount of medications under limited circumstances....

http://www.medicare.gov/coverage/prescription...

Otherwise if you want prescription coverage, you would need a Medicare D plan or a Medicare Advantage plan. BOTH of these options are NOT from Medicare itself but PRIVATE insurances who have been given the approval to run Medicare coverage (i.e. Humana Medicare, Aetna Medicare, Priority Health Medicare, etc). OR a patient will need to pay for supplemental insurance that has prescription coverage on it, along with coverage of the 20% copay and the deductible cost on Medicare Part B.

And this is a perfect example of criminality that should be prosecuted but probably won't because in the end it will be painted with with a brush called, "well, its a business, and business is business, and a free enterprise, and we don't want to interfere with business, capitalism, and it wasn't intentional, and nobody realized that what they were doing might be wrong or criminal."

If this had happened in China, you know they'd already be in prison awaiting their appointment with the executioner.

And you'd be bitching about this and finding reasons to condemn the Pres if the WH hand not cancelled the tours. You'd be saying, Look, they targeted spending on such and such, left the WH, public tours alone. You'd be screaming about Obama mismanagement, waste, fraud, and abuse somewhere else.

Do you see how crazy you sound? The bottom line is you just can't stand the fact that a man of color lives in the White House with his family. If Mitt, or Rand, or Paul were in there, you'd think the world is great.

Yea, I'm sure that would have just naturally come to mind had Obama not canceled them, pipe dream - The White House tours. We've all just been waiting to spring that one on poor naive Obama.
Grief! And you think other people sound crazy?!

Do you liberals kind of cringe when you read your fellow Useful Idiots' posts? You should, because pipe dream and his interesting take on reality speak for you.

You know you would Oneal. You would have read something on TownHall.com about Obama not canceling WH tours but instead cut spending on some other obscure program that favors or is held dear by red necks and teabaggers and GOPhers and other vermin. I know you would Oneal. That's the way you guys are. You perceive and believe things only in a very narrow sense, and the right wing propaganda which is blaring 24/7 in all directions is the only place you get your info. To you, its truth in its purest form. Its easier and preferable to keeping an open mind or embracing different views or ideas. That would be a sin. You would benefit by expanding your horizons a little, but you choose not to. And that's keeping you mostly in the dark. Oh well, your loss.

Wait for three years and then resume tours after they fumigate and recondition the joint.

The only thing transparent about liberals is their chronic habit of projecting that which they themselves are guilty.

Example: On another thread Bob is ripping on a conservative for having differing beliefs than other conservatives, something that you would never witness from liberals. That alone relegates your stupid "narrow sense" template to irrelevance. But let's continue:

In my case, I've stated quite definitively I am all for closing the tax gaps that mega corporations enjoy - another example of free thinking conservatism that differs from some of my fellow conservatives.

Furthermore, in the time I've been here there have been countless examples of conservatives on this site straying from the GOP's outdated stance on subjects from gay scoutmasters to health care. If you took the time to actually read conservatives' posts you might recognize this to be factual. Your problem is you're so far lost reality and facts could smash into your face and you wouldn't pay attention.

Despite many examples of anything but a conservative "narrow sense", idiot parrots like yourself, who read the progressive talking points like synchronized robotic ticker tape machines, day after day, spewing the same baseless garbage and flinging the race card at even the most obscure opportunity, prove with every post beyond any doubt where the "narrow sense" rests.

Prove me wrong.

You wouldn't be eligible for a tour in three years either. You would have to be enrolled in a school, which is impossible because you already know everything and were expelled from the last several you were enrolled in or rejected by others you applied to.

I applaud your stance on tax loopholes for the wealthiest and Corporations. Unfortunately your views on that subject are not the case for most GOPhers, particularly the crazies in your nutwhig fringe teabagger group.

You're as wrong about me as you say I am about you. I'm not liberal or left in the same way you think of Jessie Jackson or his son or the other radicals and criminals that call themselves Democrat. I despise them probably as much as you do. Maybe I'm just naive, but I have gone back and forth throughout my life in regards to political philosophy. I've been what was once called a Reagan democrat, to what I am today, which is somewhere a little between a Truman and JFK progressive. You might also say I'm Independent. I'm not afraid to admit that. I'm inclined to distrust both political parties today. The older I get the more I realize neither party, or better yet POLITICS in general is going to do it for me. However, sometimes it requires taking the lesser of two evils. In my mind, for the last two go-arounds Obama was by far the lesser evil. Romney and particularly is choice for VP were glaring liars. Ryan's plan for the deficit and debt is nothing but a fairy tale. Of course all one has to do is remember who we have as a dictator running things in Michigan today, and realize that what we have today here, is another corrupt Trifecta and if you include the courts, its a Trifecta PLUS. That has definitely not worked out too well and I'm pretty sure there's ALOT more than just me who feels that way. I would bet that there are a lot of folks out there who wish they hadn't believed all of his bull shit about 'reinventing' Michigan 3 years ago.

I don't really know. Don't live in Flint. But why don't you come on over to Flint big guy. Bring your mouth with you. You're going to need it. Don't worry about getting back to the land of milk and honey where I guess you call home. You'll be shipped back there COD.
