For those of us who have relatives that live in the area it would be nice if you set up a map to see how close this street is to relatives, schools, shopping malls, etc.

The area yur talkin about is where I live by Woodland Mall and I know its not as bad as like on Wealthy and Division. This whole area is not run by gangs. Actually I live in the same apartments but a little across the way and its quite peacefull. Yu just lock yur doors at night.

Quite the oxymoron, I would have to agree that thieves willing to have a stand-off with police, could careless about a lock....

What standoff? The thieves just left, but the cops thought they were still there.

HAHAHA Standoff? THERE WAS NO ONE THERE. Thats not a standoff, thats called we don't know what is going on, so will sit here and waste everyone's day by telling them to stay in their homes. People missed work and school cause of this.

Meanwhile, banks are getting robbed on almost a daily basis. Start focusing on serious stuff and quite worrying about a bunch of crackheads and their deals going bad, and don't give me that it was a innocent thing. "Some kind of transaction"... I'm gonna bet it wasn't selling candy bars for school... Play stupid games you win stupid prizes.

I was interested in the "honest thieves" part of the other post, and thieves not caring about locks, especially thieves that would have a stand-off or intend to hurt someone. While there didn't happen to be a stand-off...I think he was referring to having a gun vs a lock, and that there is no such thing as "honest thieves," to the previous post.
I could be wrong, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time and probably not the last...LOL
