...INVESTOR CONFIDENCE RISES...(6-19-13)..U.S. equities pushed higher on Tuesday as investors grew more confident that the Federal Reserve would temper it's recent statements on the future reduction of U.S. monetary support, while still pointing to economic improvement.......TODAY, strong enough to have gotten past, that speedbump.....

So... when Bush was President, it was all his fault and he controlled the prices. Now that Obama is President, the President is not responsible.

Ok, gotcha!

They dropped about 50% back when Obama took office. So a 12.2% increase means we still have about 38% to go to where they were back when Bush was president.
I agree,... that is good news!

In other news, Fannie and Freddie made dividend payments to the federal government of over $66 Billion dollars this last quarter. Since getting more than $187 Billion in federal money in 2008, the pair of financial giants has repaid $132 Billion dollars.

Any bet that what is driving this is a stronger housing recovery?

Probably not if any kind of recovery goes against a political goal!

Despite their best efforts to keep the economy from recovering, the conservatives led by the Koch Bros & the Chamber of Commerce can't stop average Americans from trying to live a real middle class lifestyle. One of he primary goals being to own a home.

The Chamber's drive to make workers give up wages and benefits has caused the gap between the haves and have-nots to widen, but it hasn't killed off that desire.

HOME PRICES LEAP 12% IN MAY....Source: Christopher S. Rugaber, Associated Press....WASHINGTON - Home prices jumped 12% in May from a year ago, the most in seven years. The increase suggests the housing recovery is strengthening. Real estate data provider CoreLogic said Tuesday that home prices rose from a year ago in 48 states. They fell only in Delaware and Alabama. And all but three of the 100 largest citie's reported gains Prices rose 26 percent in Nevada to lead all states. It was followed by California(20.2 percent), Arizona (16.9 percent), Hawaii (16.1 percent) and Oregon (15.1 percent). CoerLogic also say's prices rose 2.6 percent in May from April, the fifteenth straight month-over-month increase Steady hiring and low mortgage rates have encouraged more Americans to buy homes. Greater demand, a limited number of homes for sale and fewer foreclosures have pushed prices higher.....15 STRAIGHT MONTHS OF RISING PRICES....

"DESPITE THEIR BEST EFFORTS TO KEEP THE ECONOMY FROM RECOVERING".....Did you ever think, American's would have to deal with a faction that actually worked againest the good of the people and country? And for what?

It already has had to deal with that. The greed of the few led to the creation of organized labor many years ago!

Sadly, the pendulum has started to swing back towards those so called good old days. Worse is the fact that the lowly educated and jealous such as Edna, look forward to seeing average American workers being driven from the middle class.....

Ummmmm, it's not me or others who are jealous of anything. It is you and your friends on the progressives who are jealous of anyone who you perceive to have more than you have. YOU are the jealous, angry, bigot Bob, not the rest of us. I don't care what my neighbor has since I am very happy with what I have. I work hard for what I have and that is all that matters. And I don't owe you or Blue or anyone else anything, including respect. Respect is earned, not demanded. You have NOT earned it.

It was Corporate Greed that brought about Reagan and the multi-nationals to seek Global Freetrade...all along, knowing that the path to outsourcing for maximum profits was what they desired......The rest of us, just fell in line like lemmings, still believing the American Dream aspect of it all.....Geez, we will all have job's manufacturing for the world.....

Thanks for coming to his rescue Bob. At least one of you can back up your information.

And why should I search for it? You all keep screaming and whining like little bitches for facts. If you want everyone else to put up their "proof" supply your own as well. I'm not going to do the job for you.
