I haven't heard of a single OYbama-festooned car being keyed, to say nothing of some conservative teacher (if any exist at this point) harassing her Obama t-shirt clad student. If you know of any examples of a conservative vandalizing an Obama car or harassing an Obama supporter please post it. Seriously. I'd like to know if there's any examples.
Interestingly, I've seen more Romney bumper stickers on cars lately than Obama on my daily commute. Seems freedom of speech will get a chance to be tested bi-partisan style. I don't go in for bumper stickers myself, but I'm sure tempted to sport a Romney t-shirt and see if any angry liberal wants to have a go over it :)
You've noticed more Romney than Obama stickers in the Bible Belt of the mid west (west mich)? What a shocker and what an observation!

And a pretty snarky comment coming from Chicago, Ill... home of the most corrupt political machine in US history... not to mention a state on the brink of financial collapse.

Democrats have controlled Chicago since 1927...

How's that progressive liberal socialism working out for you...

n.
1. often Fascism
a. A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
b. A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.
2. Oppressive, dictatorial control.
[Italian fascismo, from fascio, group, from Late Latin fascium, from Latin fascis, bundle.]
Word History: It is fitting that the name of an authoritarian political movement like Fascism, founded in 1919 by Benito Mussolini, should come from the name of a symbol of authority. The Italian name of the movement, fascismo, is derived from fascio, "bundle,(political) group," but also refers to the movement's emblem, the fasces, a bundle of rods bound around a projecting axe-head that was carried before an ancient Roman magistrate by an attendant as a symbol of authority and power. The name of Mussolini's group of revolutionaries was soon used for similar nationalistic movements in other countries that sought to gain power through violence and ruthlessness, such as National Socialism.

Blue, do you know what people are called that change the meanings of words to suit their own purposes AND then purport that the meaning they said came from a specific dictionary? The information I just supplied is a direct quote from the American Heritage Dictionary ONLINE. Shame on you! You, who spends so much time lecturing me and others about debating without amorous and with civility and then to deliberately distort something to suit your own needs. What a disappointment.**Shaking head**

only because you are an idiot.

Tea party is members of both democrat and Republican Party that came together to protest against the government bailouts when bush was on office....but once again you ignor facts...because it "looks" that way to you. The only reason it may look that way is because some of these tea party people actually ran for congress and won, so there are some republicans that are also tea party members....but it would be remis to not mention many tea party candidates have run as democrats....but that just wouldn't fit your little definition would it.

How so?
Can you explain?
What do you think about the democrats in the Senate, and what they are doing?
Can you come up with one good reason why Harry Reid wont even look at any of the 450 bill's passed by the house since 2010?
A lot of the democrats in the house have supported those.
Just wonder how you can justify what is going on in the Senate.
I've seen your post, and it pretty much describes what Obama and his administration is doing right now.

media o
Americans better wake up, turn off the PRAVDA PROPAGANDA like NBC, CBS, ABC, CNBC, MSNBC, and HLN and start informing themselves.

Democrats better wake up, and cleanse the cancer from their ranks! Republicans woke up and began a tea party cleansing in our party in 2008, and continue to do so.

Americans must come together and purge the power positions of both parties. The traitors such as John McCain, George Bush, Bill Clinton and Obama had done enough damage and it's time to send them all packing.

Blue, people like you make me sick... you are such a clueless little man.

Considering the overwhelming amount of Obama stickers on the same road in 2008 (which sort of goes against your stupid stereotyping theory) it is a very telling observation.
Nice stab at a smart comment, but your finger missed and went right up your nose.

Well, I was interested in your comments. That is when you're not trying to out-stupid Bob and Ginger.

You said the teacher was wrong for harassing her student. That I agree with. But you also mentioned you wouldn't want your kid wearing a shirt like that to school because it might incite harassment. You said putting a bumper sticker on your car might incite vandalism as well.

Far as I'm concerned that student shouldn't have to think twice about wearing the shirt she did to school and she should be able to look to her teacher to protect her right to do so, not be the one attacking her for it.

As for tee-shirts bumper stickers I simply wanted to know if you'd ever heard of a single incident where a conservative harassed an Obama supporter for a t-shirt or vandalized a car for a Hope & Change bumper sticker. If you have then I was genuinely interested in hearing that too.

Then you hit me with a smartass response? Guess that's what I get for trying to have an adult conversation with you, Blue.

Considering that there are considerably less Obama bumper stickers and yard signs today than there were last election, yes...I'd consider that a rather telling observation.
I'd also be willing to bet that the voter turnout among Democrats and young adults will be considerably lower this November than it was during the last election as well. The energy just isn't there and if that doesn't make team O nervous, it should.

I have to wonder where this country is heading when people start thinking like Blue and are afraid to express their opinions and views for fear of being harassed or attacked for doing so and would think it their fault if it happened. We are becoming a country of cowards, I fear.

Blue is just nervous he will have to stop collecting his crazy check and SSI and find work...that's the big hurdle for the next president. Once they have got the economy going again..go after all these idiots defrauding the government now that their unemployment has expired.

Participation rate is at 30 year lows because everybody is going on disability...once they go back and deny all these people disability and then arrest these "doctors" we may just get somewhere.

I get the point he's making. If you go into a KKK convention wearing a Black Panthers T-shirt or vice versa you're going to get F'ed up. But when supporting a political candidate is considered to be a dangerous provoker for harassment, and by an adult toward a minor, we have to ask who the hell are the idiots doing the harassing.

In this case it was a black teacher who got her panties wadded at a white 16 year old girl who wore a Romney t-shirt. This dolt likened the girl wearing that to the KKK and took her out into the hallway and threatened to write on her shirt. I assume the teacher is a liberal and the kid is a conservative, or her parents are.

I'd like to know where the civil rights and "fairness" police are on this one, that's all. If this had a been a white teacher mocking and harassing a black student for wearing an Obama shirt those hypocrites would be doing their best Fred Sanford "This is the big one!!!" impressions and demanding that teacher's head on a public platter.

But I doubt a conservative teacher (if any exist) would ever even think to do that to a student. I just want to know if anyone can provide evidence of a conservative harassing a liberal for a t-shirt or bumper sticker, that's all. If someone can than I'll accept there is a problem on both sides of the fight.

Oh, here we go with "I'm being ganged up on" victim act.

Try putting yourself in the shoes of that little 16 year old girl who's radical teacher starting harassing her in front of her classmates, Blue. That's a real victim, not some anonymous Topix poster.

Why does Blue think people replying to his posts are attacks? Why is Blue afraid, yes afraid, put express his opinions on his car or allow a child to wear a shirt to school for fear of being bullied?? Why doesn't Blue decide to stand up to the bullies and FOR those being bullied? THAT would be the right thing to do.

I think the reason you don't see as many Obama bumber stickers, is because cash for clunkers effectively removed most of those!
