I never mentioned Black Water.
I'm not taking one side or the other.
It was just a simple question, that I dont know the answer to.
What's worse, what happened under Bush, or what is going on now with the drone strikes?
Did'nt mean to ruffle any feathers.
My response was a simple reply to keep things on a factual basis. Your post alluded to some fantasy that all Bush did was capture and imprison terrorists, and completely ignored the so-called enhanced interrogation techniques that most of the civilized world sees as torture. If keeping the record straight got your panties in a bunch, there isn't much I can do about that.

As far as the use of drones to take out American citizens engaged in terror activities, while located in a terrorist camp, located in a foreign country that supports terrorism..... Well, I'm afraid that even many members of the republican party agree with it. The latest news only says that they would like some oversight in a federal court like the one used to allow spying on our own citizens.

Please allow me to educate you that there is no such word as "operant." Try getting a real education first before you come back to lecture us again.
I see you've returned to launch more personal attacks at me. However, I will give you credit for one thing. The word should have been "operative". Now, if you're up to answering a question instead of just tossing insults, how about answering that question?

Bodies of law are not completed. There are ongoing changes to laws, so no, the terrorism body of law is not completed. And no, Obama is not being a maverick. He's just acting on the body of law that emerged during the Bush administration. You know, things like being able to label anyone an enemy combatant and detain them indefinitely. Just answerin'....

So you don't have an issue with Obama using the same law that you complained about Bush using? Is that because it's "evolving" now under Obama? Hypocrite much?

No "panties in a bunch" here Bob,....just a simple question, and it wasnt one sided at all, just asking what's the difference is all.
I'm not taking sides at all.
If you want to go there though, what would the left think if there was a republican in the oval office doing what Obama is doing with the drones?

I agree that you come across as just a vicious bigot, a clown, and a buffoon. You are just a fool. Why don't you stop embarrassing yourself and go back to San Francisco or wherever it is that you came from.

You're right. Gays usually think they know better than everyone else and that they themselves are better than everyone else, but the truth reveals itself in time when the gays are done in by their own foolishness.

More importantly, maybe you should show us what you thought of these tactics when Herr Bush was in office. Provide us with some of those links to the posts were you were against the killing of civilians when he was in office.

If that isn't possible, I guess you've proved yourself as just another right wing fanatic!

The UAV was used primarily as an intel gathering platform back then. When large targets of opportunity came up then yes it was used. Now the difference is it is being used as a tool to kill individuals. Heaven forbid 3 bad guys got Waterboarded. We should have just shot them.....

Only three? Maybe you'd like to add in all the suspects that were moved to other countries for questioning......

Then maybe you'd like to comment on the fact that republicans have already said that killing with a drone was fine as long as they were approved by a court first...... Imagine that, a neo-con who doesn't mind killing people!

You, apparently, missed the part about it being "approved by a court first" and THAT hasn't happened with Obama because he is king/dictator/imperial wizard and can sign his name and screw the constitution. We know that is just fine with you progressives. The only whining we ever hear is if someone from the right wants to do the same thing. Hypocrites.

Sorry, the other clueless drone, was, is, and always will, be whining about, what the Obama Administration does, regardless if those actions, are the same used, by republicans.

Whew, just broke your records for mis-placed comas!

Try to figure this out. Jimmy Boi has his panties in a bunch because drone attacks supposedly kills untold number of innocent bystanders. What his simple mind (and yours for that matter) doesn't understand that it isn't just drones that cause collateral damage. Can't you remember Daddy Bush dropping a bunker buster bomb on a supposed Iraqi command center..... The one that turned into a bomb shelter each night?

Oops!

Wah, wah, wah, Bush did it first! What a bunch of whiny little children you progressives are. Of course, we can now truly see where accountability went in this country...sad really, we have raised a generation of blubbering, whining, panty waisted little bullies that can only blame everyone else for their own shortcomings. Pay up big time, Bob, it's patriotic to "give" as Shoeleather said. Pay up to and including your children, because by the time your progressive buddies are done, that is all you will have left. You got what you voted for. Unfortunately, so did the 47,000,000 of us who didn't vote for your hero.

Does it equal 3000 dead? How many terrorists were killed while being detained? OK maybe an occasional nightstick up the butt by a Egyptian interrogator.......

Oh by the way, "operant" is a word. Look up B.F. Skinner and his research on operant conditioning. Maybe you are the one who should get a real education before coming back here and posting something.

Right back at you Really. I don't recall seeing you complain about Bush's actions regarding the war on terrorism. You righties are bitching about Obama's use of policies implemented by Bush. Before you label me a hypocrite, keep one to stick on your own forehead.

You guys are so funny. You portray us as a bunch of whiny little kids when we state facts about what Bush did. You guys refuse to acknowledge what Bush did. You turn a blind eye to what he did, you don't want to hear about it, and you sure as hell are not going to say anything negatie about him. You portray us as kids, but how grownup are you acting when you refuse to take a look at Bush's record.
