I completely missed my scheduled appt. for MARVIN & missed Thurs. & Fri. call in.....will I still be able to call in & get my check???? How do I go about doing that???

The ATM fees should only be assessed to you when you use an ATM other then
Chase. You are also allowed to go into the bank and use a teller ONE time for NO CHARGE. When you use a teller more then one time during the two week period you will be assessed a fee then. If you have been paying fees on anything you shouldn't be, then contact Chase and let them know what branch you are using. They would have to refund you those charges.
***REMEMBER*** YOU ARE ALLOWED TO USE A TELLER ONE TIME DURING THE TWO WEEK PERIOD FOR NO CHARGE. YOU MAY USE A CHASE ATM ANYTIME WITHOUT BEING CHARGED A FEE. i just had my first appointment with marvin today, i filled on saturday and when i called today it said that i cant certify until after march 22. then he said goodbye.
whats this mean?

LOL,,,As someone who has 20 years in IT experience, when someone complains about "that one thing", I find it is usually the users fault. This is a perfect example. what about this, i just got the "debit" card for uia from chase bank, eff that i did not want this i wanted a paper check , so now my unemployment money goes directly into a chase bank somewhere and I have been sent to collections through chase abnk for three credit cards years ago at the same time (banks etc. just all decided to screw me -another story of F###ing evil hitler american living) so now that $$ which get directly deposited from the us of gAy, even before i get a chance(bcz "real-time' like youknow minutes and seconds, hours etc dont matter to banks when they want your money, that time only applies when you try to prevent a fee or penalty from one off them bastards, free $$ fo' them this way, kinda a loophole i was told by a 5/3 bank manager in which there was not apology just some BS overdraft fee's) my money is gone from my unemployment "wired check" even b4 it gets there , chase manhattan says that all they are doing is getting what I owe them back fast in an insured way. all of it. this is from a 200 $$ credit limit they gave me 5 years ago which i tried to settle but they would only raise up what i owed them which now is like 2300 dollars!! for two hundred! that is all i got coming to me from UIA thats all i got eligable for. i tel them , pleeeaase just give me a little bit of MY MONEY so i can go get a gun ... what else can you do in this world it's so FF###ed up , KINDNESS is A SIGN OF WEAKNESS to americans , better to be keg slammin' pussy hitt'n badazz americans who love punchn' themselves in the face "CUZ IM TUFFF BEEITCH" than the quiet learning thinking well manered person who actually thinks b4 he reacts.

When I use online Marvin to report my earnings do I have to go online during the designated time period I would have used if using the phone?

No. You can do it anytime on the day you normally call.

My husband forgot to call in to MARVIN last Wednesday, and forgot to on Thursday or Friday also, with everything going on with the upcoming holiday weekend. Just never thought of it last week.

What happens now? What does he need to do - call the 1-866 number that's in the back of the green book they send you? Does he "lose" those 2 weeks of benefits? Does he continue his normal schedule of call-ins in the future? HELP!

Mar, how on earth do you "forget" to call MARVIN if you are unemployed???? Thats totally his fault!

I have several friends who are unemployed and they all have no problem at all calling MARVIN right on their scheduled time and date. They say they always get thru, but it might just take 5-10 minutes of dialing repeatedly. Then, once they get thru its cake from there, 5 minutes later after pushing 1 or 9 they get their confirmation that the money will be deposited the next day.

I am glad i dont have to collect, cuz i hear tons of horror stories about it, but everyone i know personally thinks MARVIN works just fine!

I know - he's not had any problems with the MARVIN system and he's always called on his day since he got laid off in April. Except last week he forgot, and when he'd remember it was too late at night.

My son did the same thing and lost those two weeks. Call right away and give it a shot.

So he should call this week (tomorrow) during his normal appt time and try to certify the weeks he should have done last Wednesday?

And then call in his usual day/time next Wednesday for his normal bi-weekly appointment?

Did you son lose those weeks completely, or did they just extend his benefit timeframe out 2 weeks to compensate for it?

He should call the customer service line right away. Then call on his normal day next week.

My son lost those two weeks completely.

Well, it's been a month now since he talked to the customer service person about his missed call-in. We're STILL waiting for a determination for those 3 weeks' pay.(Instead of just doing it for the 2-week-period that he missed his call for, they told him to hold off one week to do his normal call-in, and the determination would cover THREE weeks.???? I have no idea why; sounds like a scam for the State not to have to pay another week, when he didn't even miss a call for that third week!!) Anyway, he's resumed his normal bi-weekly calls when they told him to, so we're getting the checks again now, but still on hold for that 3-week period of W/E 8/22, 8/29 and 9/6. I have a feeling we're not going to see that money.
