God has a plan and we must hold to His unchanging hand, no matter what we see before us. Today my brother was convicted of 1st degree murder. How could this be done in a world full of modern technology? It appears that money is the only key to revealing truth. Witnesses lying one the stand, circumstantial evidence, no eye witness accounts, weapon, or dna. It is shocking to me that the individuals that were witnessed jumping out of the victims window after her death were given immunity if they tell more into a story to convict someone else. It would seem like the defense would go where the evidence leads but that was not the case. No change of venue, tape recordings and everything else that they could think of to justify the fact that they wanted my brother Karl Cotton Jr. to take the fall for her (Jamie Powell) death. He did not even know her to personalize a crime against her. I can empathize with her families loss but at the same time taking the life of an innocent person makes no sense. Anyone with a six grade education could see that the evidence made no sense. Karl Cotton Jr. was railroaded by the Kent county judicial system!!! They tried to shut him down from all contacts, holding all of his incoming and outgoing mail, refusing to allow funding to come to him so that he would feel alone. GOD will have the last say and all hidden things will be revealed.
