I bet it has been the Twilight Zone as long as you two personalities have been here. The world is getting dangerous. These numb nuts have a idea, lets unarm!! It's getting dangerous because of who we elected and their foreign policies. These numb nuts have another idea lets reelect him. Hey numb nuts when tax cuts expire that means they are gone. So taxes are then higher. You two are ignorant!!

Did you note the wild azz statements the crazy Vox made about spending increases and the other one about not being able to just let the tax cuts to the 1-2% expire, that they have to raise everyone's taxes? Where do these whackos get this stuff?
Apparently you can't read any better than Stay Blue can??? The Bush Tax Cuts law was written to prevent people like Obama from cancelling just one portion of the law. THE TAX CUTS ALL HAVE TO EXPIRE AS OF JANUARY 1. That means if the tyrant wants to raise taxes on the wealthy, he will either have to figure out how to work with Congress OR he will have to become even more of a tyrant.

And just in case you haven't figured out why he has to work with Congress, THEY WRITE THE TAX LAWS, NOT NAPOLEON IN SHORT PANTS.

<quoted text>It even show's a defense budget of over half a trillion...incredible...Presid ent Obama is correct, in that, it needs to decrease....
The last figures I've seen were for fiscal 2010 and showed that overall defense spending was slightly over $1.2 Trillion, with $685 Billion of that being for conventional forces. And yet to some people, that isn't nearly enough to keep boogeyman hidden under the bed or in the closet... Or wherever they imagine the latest threat resides.

I thought it was most telling when Mittens brought up the supposed fact that our navy was smaller than it was in 1916, and a few of the local neo-cons jumped right on board. None of them could reply to my question of who was a big enough threat to warrant such a navy, but I'm sure it hasn't changed their minds about the need for such a fleet.

Poor Linda, or at least one of her, was howling about the need to defend ourselves from Al Queda..... With what? They have no navy, no air force, no armor, just a bunch of crazies, dressed like civilians who carry small arms. How many carrier task forces does it take to rein in an enemy that has no navy?

Look at the cost of us having to maintain our nuke forces. We've got enough bombs to flatten the entire world a dozen or so times over, but to listen to the other side, we're under-gunned. As far as I know, the only enemy we would ever need to kill more than once would be if we were attacked by a nation of cats..... And then we'd only need nine times as many as normal!

The fact remains that we spend more money on national defense than the next sixteen countries, COMBINED. Our defense budget has nearly DOUBLED in the last decade. Isn't time to realize that we can prune defense spending back just a wee bit?

But let's all ignore this in favor of worrying about some fiction about the President taking away our retirement accounts.

Seem's kinda rude for the republicans to scream for the President to cut spending, yet when he proposes cutting that bloated defense budget, they then yell, he is harming our military....the same military, they neglected to even acknowledge, during their convention.....I would propose they could cut alot more...tax breaks for big oil...much of the foreign financial and military aid....Section 8 housing, which is actually horrible social engineering....fraud within the welfare and foodstamp programs....streamline government....there are many areas that could be cut, but they have to get past the, every cut is somebody's big doner system....they have to start ignoring the corporate interests and govern more for the good of the country. Wow your are unbelievably stupid and gullible. The money does not go to building more nuclear bombs it much of it goes to new technology that you could learn about in 10-20 years if you ever know about it. It also goes toward maintaining and building technology we know of. You are obviously oblivious to the many dangers out there which is very telling of yourself. Nation of cats? You are truly demented Jason!!

Seems strange you boneheads like and want to spend money on everything under the sun. Building robot squirrels to watch snakes attack them or study shrimp on treadmills. But you don't want spending on the defense of the nation which is the primary purpose of the formation of the government. So, so dumb Jason!!!
