Finally a post where you state your stand on all of this and one that I can appreciate and respect.
What you and other's like you dont understand is that Irving is not doing this, they are simply cooperating with Federal Law, it is not the officer's that are screening those arrested for immigration status and in fact once the person arrested is transported to the jail, that is the last the officer see's of that person, we do not want them involved with that, which is why 287g was opposed. You are absolutely correct as to the living conditions in the homeland of many of these illegal immigrants and some of the stories ive read are heartbreaking but they are not our responsibility, they are the responsiblity of their government and im sure the living conditions of others that come here the legal way is also pretty horrid, take those emigrating from S. Africa, Brazil or Argentina for instance. Simply put, this is at a Federal level.
As ive said before, when I no longer see Americans or those here legally going without I will then feel more sympathy for other's.

Well, the last I heard, Texas was purchased from Mexico, therefore it is no longer theirs. My grandmother sold a house in 1956. Can I go break into that house and demand to be treated as part of the family in that house just because it used to belong to my ancestors? No, I have no right in that house and by going into it without permission I am breaking the law and would be punished. I could not say, well it was our house first! I cannot sell a car and then a year from now go take it by force and say, well, it was mine before it was yours and therefore I have a right to it. If you are here illegally, YOU HAVE NO RIGHTS. Texas is NOT a part of Mexico and has not been a part of Mexico in a VERY long time. Get real!

The lawmakers in this country who have supposed sympathy and want to grant amnesty to these criminals do not have to live next door to them, their children and grand children do not have to go to school with them and they will not suffer the consequenses of their actions.

Rof, Yep, but they sure try to nail anyone else to address their fantasy content. Sure seems to me some are talking revolution. Did you catch that breakdown?...drag you out of your ...home... make you watch as they raise their flag on your front lawn and then force you to serve them? Wonder what the law thinks about those type of attitudes. I just know someone must be watching them.

NEW APPROACH OF TURNING IN ALL ILLEGAL IN IRVING TEXAS.

We are now also clueing in the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to all suspected illegals that work, plus their employers if we know of them. The IRS takes very unkindly to the employers especially that seek to evade taxes by paying cash for daywork type labor, which is common at construction sites, lawn services and some factories. Their fraud/criminal investigations number is ONE, EIGHT HUNDRED, EIGHT, TWO, NINE, ZERO, FOUR, THREE, THREE. nationwide. USE IT. They can be more effective than the INS in many cases and will do the investigative work, then if they uncover illegals will contact the INS who will come in at the end, make the arrests and take the credit. The employers however usually can't run and they take the big hit.

You may also call. TWO, ONE, FOUR, NINE ZERO FIVE, FIVE, EIGHT, ZERO, SEVEN Dallas office, for Eastern Texas.

Please remember if you know their work place it is also illegal for the employer to work them so you must turn in that employer also.

PLEASE CALL THIS NUMBER IF YOU SUSPECT SOMEONE OF BEING ILLEGAL AND HAVE DECENT FACTS. ONE, EIGHT HUNDRED, EIGHT, TWO, NINE, ZERO, FOUR, THREE, THREE.

I posted the first article on another forum:
Irving's illegal immigrants' charges minor
Most of the charges faced by the 1,638 illegal immigrants arrested in Irving and placed in federal custody over the last 13 months are misdemeanors, according to a Police Department report released Wednesday. But Quintanilla does'nt mention that ALL of the offenses are arrestable offenses that EVERYONE is arrested for nor that ALL of those detained for deportation were ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS! he asked for the report but now that he did'nt get the results that he wanted, he now says that their "backtracking".

Mexican consul says he turned threatening e-mail over to U.S.
Mexican Consul Enrique Hubbard Urrea has received plenty of hate mail in the last several days over his comments about Irving's crackdown on illegal immigrants: but Dallas Police have no record of there ever being a complaint nor does the US dept of Justice, does this guy even know how to tell the truth? hell he probally sent himself the email or had one of his flunkies do it for him.

One neighborhood at a time we will remove all illegal aliens. Please be patient. Our government an corporate America has spent a long time bringing in these modern day slaves. It is ironic that the illegal aliens think that the individuals that want them to stay here is on their side when in reality they want to use them for cheap labor.
If you are illegal and you have any pride in Meehico our advise is to go home. We will not tolerate you presence any longer. You are now having an affect on our society and our children.
Go HOME.

Why can't they take their little anchor babies home with them??? Because they are home. Whether you people like it or not those children are American citizens with the same rights, and even more so, they are innocent children who do not deserve to be spoken of with such hatred. Maybe if we all took some time to study God's words we might find the answer to ALL of those problems, and the biggest one is the feelings that are being awoken once again in America. Unless you are changing the constitution those little "anchor babies" have the same undeniable rights as anyone else who was born here, regardless of who their parents are. It is amazing to me that you can think like that, has everyone forgotten about our history, this issue is an old issue, all men are created equal, and you are not better then these illegal immigrants and you are certainly not better than those American born children. And as to the "problem" in the Irving school system, are you also the wife of a teacher, principal or the superintendent?? The problem with the education system is not the "non-english" speakers, and by the way those kids are not label like that, they are called ELL, and they will soon be bilingual, and that is something to be celebrated. I am guessing that you blame all of the problems that might be going on in Irving on the illegal immigrants? but you did mention all those pregnancies and mariachi music,....which leads me to believe that your problem is with hispanics, and by the way, domestic violence is not a problem that is only correlated to the hispanic population. Everything you have said leads me to something that I already knew, that most of what's going on in Irving is brought on by racist people, like you. With every single word that you write you express the hate that I already know exists in Irving, people wanted proof? all they have to do is read your posts TLC.<quoted text>

First of all, nobody is arguing the point that Texas belongs to the United States. I'm not sure what the point of your post was, because no one is saying otherwise. Now as to your comments of those lawmakers who want to grant amnesty to those "criminals," no one wants to grant amnesty to anyone, they want to provide a path to legalization for the millions of people who have been in this country for a very long time, and who have contributed to the United States. And if your problem is people being here illegally, why not support them becoming legal so that they’re no longer your problem? Their children will go to school with your kids and your grandchildren because it’s their right. Simple as that.
