Why do "I" need to be able to tell who is or
isn't legal. I could see a need to be able to
know personally who is or isn't legally here, but
the fact remains that illegal aliens of all races
and all countries, are a drain on all of the
resources here. Is not apparent to you?
Hospitals close all the time citing the inability
to sustain themselves due to the illegal aliens
not being able to pay for services-(or choosing
not to because there is no way to enforce their
having to pay?)

Do illegal aliens and their advocates just think
that "one more in the door" is not going to make
a noticeable difference on the economy so they
keep coming in?

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to do the math
and realize that for every illegal that makes it
here and sponges off the resources it brings the
whole thing one notch lower for EVERYONE here.

The illegals are just slowing chipping away and
creating for their children and grandchildren the
very thing that they claimed to want to get away
from in their own country. They are teaching
their children that if you don't have what you
want, but someone else DOES. Don't create it for
yourself, go take it from someone else because
it's easier.

What would showing up for the rally prove?
It proves nothing for the illegal aliens except
"We're here and we don't care about no stinking law".

All the rally does is provide more footage for telemundo
and Univision and others to edit to show how the white
man is doing them wrong and enforcing the laws of his country.

Well maybe since you do not recognize those children as American citizens, maybe the Mexican people don't recognize Texas as being part of The United States, since it first belonged to Mexico, whether you believe it or not. Maybe Mexicans refuse to "recognize" the fact that Texas now belongs to the United States. I mean, if we can all pick and choose what law we wish to "recognize." The difference between you and me is that I am not passing judgment on a group of people; I’m passing judgment on you because you keep making generalizing statements about an entire group of people. I'm passing judgment on you because you don't even do what you want other people to do, you claim that all you want is for people to follow the law, but you have contradicted yourself when you claim that these children aren't American citizens even though its in our law, not just any law, but on the supreme law of the United States, and as you have said, we are a country of laws right? Again, when I stop seeing so many Americans going without I will feel more sympathy for others. Have you ever seen an elderly person have to choose between needed medication and utilities? between medication and food? an elderly couple living in their apartment with no electricity and have to tell them that we cant help you because you make TOO MUCH MONEY to be eligible for aid? have you ever seen a little kid so hungry that his little belly hurts? ever walk through an alley or a homeless shelter to see the lost empty look in the eyes of a single mother thats just been told that her children can stay but she can't? have you ever had to turn away someone, telling them that you would love to help them but can't because there just is'nt enough funding? this is what I see everyday..........if your truely an Irving citizen, go spend some time volunteering at one of our many "facilities". I just want to say in response to the comments saying that these people should go back to their country and come legally to the United States. Many people do not understand how difficult it is for people in Mexico, and other parts of Latin America to immigrate legally to the United States, the people who come to this country illegally are people who need to feed their families, and most would not even qualify to immigrate to the country legally. There is no "line" to go to the back of, and until we have a federal immigration reform, people will continue to keep coming here illegally. All the city of Irving is doing is wasting tax payers’ money, and spending those precious resources people love to talk about on deporting people who will be back in a few days. I'm for immigration reform, but at a Federal level.
