Btw, were there 1100 Republican job bills? Nope, not even remotely close to it.
Btw, did the Democrats focus on creating jobs, or giving free stuff away the past 4 years? It wasn't jobs.......

Really? It is fact that all conservatives are against women in combat in the military? Your track record on "facts" is a little slim. I don't doubt there were 1100 bills, but tell me, how many were at the federal level? How many were at the state level? How many were at the local level? Or is 1100 just some number supplied by a group that incited your ire, and you don't really have the analysis to back up your anger?

<quoted text>Ummm..........how many passed? You have fringe elements in your party that introduce lots of bills that don't make sense as well. I don't hold everyone that identifies themselves as a Democrat responsible for everything PETA does, or responsible for everything that the Occupy movement does, but its members are much more likely to be liberal than conservative. Quit lumping everyone together in one big pot.
Fringe element? The Republican leadership has become saturated with religious extremists, sexist bigots, people living in the past, and corporate hacks (the hacks don't want equal pay laws for other reasons than being sexist). 1100 bills in only two years says a lot.

A friend and I even did a thread on it before the election. You need to read it. I'll post the link.

Btw, another Republican leader since the election has said we cannot become pregnant from rape.

And there is this .....

In New Mexico a Republican bill would criminalize abortions after rape ..... get this one ..... as 'Tampering With Evidence'.

It would legally require rape victims to carry their pregnancies to term in order to use the fetus as evidence for a rape trial.

The bill would add this as a new section to the law covering tampering with evidence .....

"Tampering with evidence shall include procuring or facilitating an abortion, or compelling or coercing another to obtain an abortion, of a fetus that is the result of criminal sexual penetration or incest with the intent to destroy evidence of the crime."

Notice also there is 'no' exclusion for children impregnated by rape or incest, or for pregnancies which could for health reasons endanger the life of the rape victim.

And this thread is still another example. The loudest voice in opposition to us defending our own nation is coming from the Republican party.

It's history repeating itself like watching a rerun on TV. 2016, another Democrat win.

True equality? So your saying, all things being equal, woman have the same level of physical strength and or mental strength as men? Before you respond, please tell me you have gone through some levels of basic training. Or you have served in or with a combat unit. If not, you nothing more than another slewsie, spitting in the wind!

Once again, divert and deflect from the facts. How many federal bills did the Republican party pass that you consider to be "war on women"? I thought so.

This thread was about women getting combat roles in the US military, way to subvert it to your own personal agenda.

Divert from facts? The facts are that every move to help women achieve equality has came from President Obama. Every bill, enacted law, bill blocking, or repeal of laws, which has harmed women has came from the Republican Party. That 'is' the facts.

A great example. What are you guys doing on here? Opposing our right to act in combat roles.

Looks like quitters never win or read their own blathering posts....

"Equality is fine as long as it doesn't devolve into preferential treatment."

Predicting a future problem, based on preferring the old status ....

Of COURSE, they've been denied, but if we give those "women" rights, BETTER WATCH 'EM, right wing nut ??

You are forgetting an important fact aren't you? Women have been in the middle-east for years. They are even members of in-the-field US Special Forces units.

June 2003, General Martin Dempsey gets on board an armoured vehicle to go out on the streets of Baghdad to inspect how bad the war was there. They had been particularly having problems with snipers, grenade attacks, and roadside bombs. He took a second to introduce himself to the crew of the vehicle.

"I slapped the turret gunner on the leg and I (General Dempsey) said,'Who are you?'"

And the soldier leaned down and said, "I'm Amanda."

True story.

Time to draf them into combat just like the guys, no seperate units either. Fully integrated, do it or get off the pot.

NO special treatment, NONE.
