That is what Gov Walker of WI is saying, and will continue to say for the remainder of Gov GoogleyEyes term. Hey Gov, I've got news for you - since you were never a businessman. Taxes do impact businesses and jobs. ---------- Mark Dayton's tax plan has a fan — in Wisconsin By Andy Rathbun 02/06/2013 10:28:42 AM CST One Wisconsin legislator says Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton's budget proposal is fantastic. For the Badger State. State Rep. Erik Severson, R-Osceola, sent an open letter to Minnesota businesses Tuesday, Feb. 5, urging them to relocate across the border in response to Dayton's recent budget proposal. "(Dayton) does not seem to understand that high taxes drive businesses out -- out of business and out of his state," Severson said in the letter. "Fortunately, your neighbors to the east are ready to welcome your business with open arms and low taxes." Severson, whose district borders the St. Croix River, said his office sent the letter to hundreds of Minnesota businesses close to the border, including 3M, Best Buy and UnitedHealth Group, in an effort to make them "stop and think if this is where you want to be." He said he already has heard from some Minnesota businesses looking into a move to Wisconsin in response to Dayton's budget proposal, but he declined to name them. Dayton's plan would raise $2.1 billion in additional tax revenue over the next two years. Key parts of it include lowering the state sales tax rate from 6.875 percent to 5.5 percent, but expanding it to more items and services. It's the tax on services that has stirred up the Minnesota business community. Dayton's office responded to Severson's letter by saying job growth is not dictated by taxes, and Severson should worry about his own state. "All indicators show that there is not the direct correlation between tax levels and job growth; in fact, Minnesota's economy has fared far better than Wisconsin's over the last couple of years," said a statement from the Minnesota governor's office. http://www.twincities.com/wisconsin/ci_225269...

Daytons plan is nothing more than re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Lower this tax, raise that tax, get rid of one and add two times the square of the hypotenuse to the 3rd power. It does nothing to address the huge spending problem that the state government has.

Actually the sale price was $500M. Hypocrisy is the plasma that pumps life into these liberal robots. Can you imagine the outrage these hypocrites would direct at Bush if he authorized drone strikes on U.S. citizens?

It's Emir-acle! Former Vice President Al Gore has made himself a much, much richer man by selling his little watched cable channel Current TV to the Emir of Qatar-funded Arab news channel Al-Jazeera. Gore netted $100 million with his 20 percent stake in the network when it was sold for a reported $500 million on Wednesday. Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2013/01/...
