Sami-themed coffee shop celebrates culture
Patrons visit the Lavvu Coffee House in Minneapolis on Feb. 14, 2013. The coffee house is the country's only Sami- themed and owned coffee shop and features a full-sized lavvu, the traditional dwelling of the indigenous Sami people of northern Scandinavia.

"Culture is highly personal," he said. "It gives you a feeling of belonging to a greater whole. Whether African-American, Hmong, Norwegian, what have you. They're all very passionate about their culture in one way or another. The Sami are no exception."
