What gives him the right to stay in ofe after having a realtionship with a 17 year old if it was someone eles that did they would be locked up for it. So wats gives him the right to still be the county attorney. He deserves to loose his job and get jail time. If it was anyone eles they would get jail time wats gives him the right to not loose his job and get jail time for his actions.

I find the above three comments messed up. So far I have not read or seen anything which says that Scannell has broken the law. If he has had sex with a minor he has broken the law but no one has said that he did that. Where is the proof other than the above writer's imagination and desire to hang Scannell? I am sick and tired of lynch mob mentalities that come from media hypes. Let's get the facts and the evidence first. We have this thing called the Constitution. You may have heard of it. It is a cornerstone that our country was built upon.It says that no one can be deprived of life or liberty without due process. Do you know what that means? It means that you have the right to face your acusers and be tried by a jury of your peers before you are convicted. It requires evidence sufficient to support a conviction, not just media hype and a rush to judgment. Let the investigators do their job and let the proces take its course. In the meantime say soemthing intelligent or don't say anything at all.
