I've been reading the articles on the Coke Plant and the Health Survey with great interest. From 1959-1970 my family lived on Coshway Place, before moving to Syracuse. We played near Spaulding Fiber, the Dump, and other places. We had the fly ash. I know in 1962-1963 time frame there were at least 4 known miscarriages in our immediate neighborhood. In 1983 my dad died of a 2nd heart attack at age 49. I know that other males in the area passed in early 50's. I myself was diagnosed with colon cancer at age 49. A friend still in Tonawanda was diagnosed with colon cancer this year. So I would love to have Joyce Hogenkamp and her org, or anyone else with the survey, email me at [email protected] with more information.

Shut the place down and put over 100 people out of jobs. Why not just shut all the factories down up in that area?
Shut down the Huntley Plant. One miscarraige is one too many. Who needs jobs? Get rid of industry in Buffalo.
