Although they were at the undergraduate level, I took several Constitutional Law courses through the UB Law School taught by professors on the UB Law School faculty.

I am guessing you get your "understanding" of Constitutional Law from college dropouts/disc jockeys like Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck

'if teachers are armed, they could help prevent
school shootings'.
um, is this the proper time to bring up ft hood, where everyone was packing heat and a dozen or so people still died? my. if only there was a teacher there to protect those dead soldiers.

Don't be stupid. Nobody "packs heat" on an Army base unless they are a MP or at the firing range. This isn't Afghanistan....yet!

And Newton has a police force and it still happened. Don't spout off about things you don't have a clue about. The only troops on a base that are armed with loaded weapons are the MPs. The only place there is live ammo for the rest of the troops stationed there is on the firing ranges and no live ammo is removed from the ranges.

And I have no idea who Alex Jones is!

you know who jones is, kiddo.
one teacher with a gun.
an army base with many guns.
am i to believe an army base has guns with empty chambers? to scare people? does one have to go through a secretary to get a goddam bullet?
listen, chump. a teacher will stop nothing.
that is the friggin issue.
a teacher will stop him/herself from breathing.
this is dull. you are boring.
i find you guilty of being boring and dull.

A teacher can't stop anything because most teachers are liberals and if they had a gun they would get it taken from them and have their own heads blown off.

Do you really believe an Army base has all the troops armed with loaded weapons all the time??? Are you serious??? What is the purpose of that?
Maybe the Canadians or Mexicans will come streaming across the borders. Oh, never mind. The Mexicans are already doing that!

Jesus, you can't fix stupid and you just proved it!

You obviously have never been on a military installation. All weapons are completely banned on all military installations!(Except for MP's). If anyone had their service weapon with them at the time, I can assure you that they were not allowed to have any ammo. I was active duty military for 4 years, and the only time we were ever handed live ammo, was at the range, the moment before we fired it, or on board an aircraft en-route to a hostile situation. If you were caught with a single round of ammo, in any other situation, it was a court marshal offense.

Uniformed armed security guards are fine, but they could be taken out by ambush, leaving another defenseless situation. Responsible concealed carry by certified permit holding employees, should be allowed, anonymously, so that nobody knows who may be carrying, and who is not...

Of course the gun banners would have you believe that school shootings and mass murders only happen in the U.S., WRONG as usual,
Hungerford England, 1987 16 killed, 15 wounded...
Dunblne Scottand, 1996 16 school childern and 1 adult killed...
Cumbria England, 2010, 12 killed 11 wounded...
Oslo & Utoya Norway, 2011, 75 killed, 242 wounded...
Mekenskaya Russia, 1999, 41 killed...
Yinshanpai China, 2009, 13 killed...
These are just a sample of the many mass shootings that occur in countries where guns are completely banned to the general public!

You're the one sounding "troubled". And you are uneducated. Yet you still feel the need to talk about things you have no clue about. Troubled, for sure!

Every one of the countries you site HAVE legal firearms. And NO one is suggesting that all guns be banned. It's my personal opinion that Assault weapons feed into the fantasy of unstable people. They also have enhanced capabilities that make them more deadly. If those weapons had been kept locked in a safe they would not have become a problem in most cases, but they weren't and probably won't be in the future.

IN All those countries firarms are banned to the general public! Firerms ownership is less than one percent of the population! Now back to this country. FYI- More people are murdered with "hands and feet" for weapons than all rifle deaths combined, semi-auto and otherwise! Now, why are we going to ban them???

Kaisertown is safer since the Jewish Judge confiscated Jimmy's throwing stars and bomb making supplies.

Jimmy's butt is safer since Uncle Timmy can no longer get an erection.

The "Oracle of Kaisertown" sez, "Send all no-good-niks my way; I'll turn 'em into creamed corn."
