They (the deer) were probably being chased by the mountain lion.

NOW YOU KNOW...We are going to have to sue the deer for not crossing at the designated area which is clearly posted with the "Deer Crossing" sign. I saw these deer yesterday, and they looked like trouble makers to me. They had that "deer in the headlights" look on their face. They were probably out drinking with Giambra's son.

LMBO, the deer were drinking at the beer tent at the canal fest, thought they were being chased by a mountain lion, double vision caused them to believe the squirel was a mountain lion, and of course the people in the car were text messaging, but to add more to the dilema, the driver got beat up last week with his prostetic leg and he hasn't got it replaced yet so he was a one legged driver.
And the as far the deer drinking with Giambras son that was last week, this week they were at the Canal Fest.

The deer were jay walking and the drivers didn't want to hit them like the bus in Buffalo.

Hmmm, let's see, how many cars lengths are we supposed to keep between vehicles going at 65 mph? And what about the rule to drive defensiblely? and always having your vehicle under control, just because you never know, when something unexpected is going to happen...So you could retitle your article "Driver's poor Driving Skills Almost Caused the Death of a Defenseless Deer"

I always wondered why those deer hanging out there had not been the cause of accidents. Possibly there is a way animal control can relocate them. Maybe fences can be installed in that area. I see the deer their often. Hopefully the humans will all recover back to 100% soon.

more importantly, I hope the deer wasn't too traumatized by the whole event. Anyone driving too fast on a road known to be frequented by deer deserves what they get. It's not bad enough we've taken over all their land, now we expect them to obey our arbitrary traffic laws...

Don't GI drivers know enough to get out of the way when the deer and mountain lion were on the way to Canal Fest?

2 car accident and you are worried about the deer? Last time I checked, the deer didnt get hit. Sure, these people should have been driving more cautiously, but to be an advocate for deer is a little ridiculous. Maybe we should extend hunting season to control the deer population a little better.

I DIDN'T KNOW THE MOUNTAIN LION WAS AT THE CANAL FEST WITH THE DRUNKEN DEER. DO YOU SUPPOSE THE ONE LEGGED DRIVER MAY HAVE KNOW THIS. MY ONLY REAL QUESTION, WHY WOULD THE DEER CROSSING THE ROAD IN THEIR DESIGNATED ARE WHICH ARE CLEARLY MARKED WITH BRIGHT YELLOW SIGNS STATING DEER CROSSING.
