I live in New York State, and there are mountain lions living around here, I have paw prints all over the backyard (I live near the woods), and someone killed one with a tracing collar about 2 years ago.

Someone else set up a camera and took pictures of that big cat; I will ask him to send it to the DC.

That's why mountain lions should be exterminated. First they start flying model airplanes. Next they move up to Cessnas and before you know it they will be taking jobs away from airline pilots.

It is well known that cats are not good swimmers. There is no way a mountain lion could get to Grand Island unless it crossed the bridge, or was imported by a resicent to the island. Ask Truebluegirl45@aol.com She is the wildlife expert on Grand Island.

Holy cow! That would be a little frightening to have a Mountain Lion on an island because there is less of a chance it will leave of its own volition. It would most likely require some wildlife removal ( http://www.fourseasonswildliferemoval.ca ) procedures in order to help it vacate the area, even if it can swim. Don't cats generally avoid water?
