When thousands, upon thousands of people want the State Fair moved, seems to me that the other thousands of people would support the idea, and give it a chance. But no, we have three cry babies that don't want to see anthing that better the great state of Nebraska. So, they have to waste people time and money, because they are so selfish. Worst case scenoria for them would be they would have to drive to Grand Island instead of Lincoln.
Grow up Roger, Brian, and Jerry, if you can't be part of a solution, don't be the problem.

The fair will lose many who attend now! You all forget about the largest population that drives to Lincoln for the fair. That would be Omaha and I really don't think many will drive to Grand Island. My friend in Omaha said many of her co-workers and family members will not drive to the fair if it is moved to Grand Island.

The state fair will return to its ag roots and the snake oil salesman can stay home. Nebraska puts all government offices and money into Lincoln or Omaha never considering the rest of the state. If the fair made money it would not be moving, so a change could save the "fair".

Believe it or not, There are more areas in Nebraska that exist other than Lincoln and Omaha. I say have it in Scottsbluff, let those self-centered pricks in Omaha drive 9 hours for once.

And when attendance drops by over 50% we'll enjoy hearing Lincoln and Omaha tell those self-centered pricks in the West to pound sand if they think the Easterners should subsidize it.

Nice try john, far more state tax revenue is used in projects in Central & Western Nebraska than is taken in. Don't let that fact bother you!

See, that's the difference between you and I: You get all worked up about what random stangers say on the internet, whereas I just have fun with retards like you, letting it roll off my back. You will actually follow where I comment jsut to talk smack, whereas I have already forgotten about you.

Now, go back into your little cave like a good troll should: A sad and lonely person that cannot get over the fact that there mught be a few people out there in the world that may have a different opinion.

They're going to find it making less now.

Well, that's probably the call of those who put up the initial capital to get it all setup. It will be interesting to see how it fares the next 3 or 4 years.

So, we should see how the fair fares first?

Come enjoy the fair weather at the fair, where you can eat some tasty fare from one of their many vendors, and the fair is very fair, since all races, colors, credds and religions are welcome.

And you bitch because you will have to drive farther to see the fair. At least you aren't going to have to pay extra taxes to fund something that you didn't want in the first place and didn't have a chance to vote on to stop. Quit whining! You live a mere 90-150 miles from GI...open your small little mind and think of the people in say Chadron, or Scottsbluff that have to drive so far to get to Lincoln for the fair.
