My letter to Nate Reems:

More media foul-ups! Note the photo. Caption excerpt: "Dan Van Dussen prepares to fire his .44-caliber handgun...."
Right! A .44-caliber Ruger .22-caliber semi-auto pistol.
Also: "The state last spring had to act fast to ban shooting at the Rogue River Extension Area, near Rockford, when homes in a subdivision a half-mile away were hit by gunfire from an AK-47." Once again, the "media" describes what was probably a semi-automatic version of the true AK-47 military rifle capable of automatic fire. The shooter an automatic firearm, to be legal, would have to have a copy of the ATF/FBI-issued paperwork showing a real AK-47 to be legally registered and the $200 tax paid. Of course, such explanations presented to the public must be considered too intellectual for them to understand. Hell! Let's just call everything an assault rifle. Oh, I forgot. The media does that, too.

Bill Ruger was a great inventor but I never saw a Ruger RST6 chambered in 44 caliber! Again some idiot that knows less than nothing about guns spouts nonsense meant to show firearms in a bad light.
