4 arrested for beating in Grand Haven

Four teens admitted trying to rob a man for pizza and beer near the waterfront early Friday morning.

Well, everyone here is acting like they've never done something stupid. They were dumb and made an irreversible mistake. But they've still got families that love and care for them.

Saying that they need to be hung or calling them names isn't making the situation any better-- or worse. Your all just making accusations that mean nothing.

Everyone understands that what they did was wrong, but if you only have mean things to say then maybe you shouldn't say them at all.

You should probably look into the big brother program and get yourself a better role model for a sibling. They made no mistake, they did something that they knew was wrong, they would have had to plot to do this which speaks volumes of their character, and they made someone a victim who very well could have been seriously hurt or even died from his injuries. They apparently were never taught right from wrong nor were they ever taught to have respect for another or their property.

I do understand your defending them. You are their family. But you also must realize that this was not just a stupid kids doing something stupid. This was a violent crime. How would you feel if the beaten victim would have been your brother or maybe your mother? They deserve all the slams from society they get. They were all guilty, not just one as some posters say in here. If the others did not agree with what one of them was doing they should have beaten down their friend when he started this, if they were innocent. Just remember that it could have been one of your family, friends that could have been the victim here. Then tell me it was a mistake. You need to support your brother just do not dismiss what he did. You need to stand tall for your family now and show people that your parents did raise good kids and this was just a very poor decision.

I've done some stupid things. No felonies though. Never beaten and robbed anyone. Your "stop saying mean things" idea is laughable. I looked at those three pictures and didn't even see one productive future.

these 4 boys are like any other boys. they do dumb and stupid actions. their families might not be proud of wut they have done but they certainly still love them. put the situation as wut if those 4 boys were ur loving sons, you would not want strangers to say to hang, kill, and call them white trash. im sure they are all pretty sorry about wut they did and regret it.

about these boys being only lived with a single parent is just stereotyping. it has nothing to do with if they are raised by a single parent, there are many people who became successful living with a single parent.
