If WoodTV is "all over this weather situation" when we're expecting 3-5 inches what the heck did they do back in the glory days of the 70's & 80's when it was normal to get 2 feet in a week? My god, they act like this is a major event in West Michigan. Yes, the roads will be slick and everybody needs to slow down but for crying out loud, quit reporting these things like they are major catastrophic events that they'll have to call in all the weather anchors in to report on!!

Another incompetent truck driver. The industry is in crisis for being unable to hire qualified drivers.

People just need to slow down. Get off your phone, stop playing with the radio, and pay attention! I had some kid who barely looked 16 about 2 inches off my back bumper this morning on my way to work. There are accidents and slide offs because of people like that - SLOW DOWN.

Everyone keeps talking about the winters of the 70's and 80's like they were major. Yes there were a couple of big one day snowfalls. In the top 15 snowiest winters the 70's and 80's have 2. The 2000's have 4....soon to be 5. So 1/3 of the snowiest winters have occurred after 2000. I was a kid in the 70's and 80's and my school did not have 1 snow day my whole time in school.(we had a couple ice days).
