This is truelly amazing... This dude could go to prison for 2 years, but we had Mr. Dehaan (possible drunk driver but can't prove it because he ran) a while ago KILL a man, leave the schene of the accident, not report anything till the police came to knock on his door. Oh, his punishment... 6 months probation. Vehicular homicide oh 6 months. This dude, 2 years for drinking underage and trying to run. This court and punishment system is bull___t.

I'm ignorant? Hey dumby did you read the story? They were at a house party. I could put on a uniform, but I am not cool enough to pimp the 70's porn stash. Plus I don't have the above the law mindset that most cops do. I do admit there are some good cops out there. The kind like my brother-in-law and a few of my friends, but I think their time could be used a little better.
I highly doubt you have any "friends" in law enforcement or that your brother-in-law cares much for you when you have such negative statements about their career. What do you do??? Maybe we could tear your profession up.

That's a good one. Maybe you should try to change the law then. If you are responsible enough to die for your country then you should be responsible enough to follow laws.

Do you really think this would have been such a big deal if he would have been man enough to just get cited for a MIP? He would have just received a citation and been able to leave. Was it really responsible to disobey a police officer, run from the scene, and fight with an officer? This whole thing was over a MIP for crying out loud. He is the one who escalated the offense. Why is the blame always put back on law enforcement. Simple minds always try to find a blame or excuse for their errors. Man up!
