It's been a deadly summer on Lake Michigan with at least 65 drownings. This summer there have been drownings from Ludington to South Haven.

no lifeguards, no flags, no warning signs. thats what you get.

Most communities have warning signs, many have flags and some even have lifeguards and they all still have drownings.

South Haven has signs-before the pier-on the pier-by the paying slots on the parking lot- before you enter the beach. It warns about the currents and what to do if one is in one. The pier has about 6-7 life line/tube things and stairs.
