New Democrat Coalition Issues Ultimatum On Immigration Reform
Ever wonder WHY the GOP in Congress (House) is against immigration reform?
Could it be that undoc immigrants are paid less than American citizens?
Ever wonder who benefits the most by this? You already know who pays the bill.
Wouldn't you want to legalize the educated hard workers and pay them a living wage w/benefits so they can pay taxes and take the burden off of you?
Why wouldn't the GOP in Congress want this?

House GOP Weighs Defunding ACORN In 13th Vote To Block Funds To Defunct Organization
Its official, GOP has proven that they DO NOT know what they are doing. I guess Bobby Jindal was right,'they are the stupid party'.
Read and decide for yourself.
ACORN's voter registration drives, which it has conducted since the 1980s, has been frequently mischaracterized by supporters of Republican candidates "voter fraud". ACORN received significant negative publicity in the wake of the 2009 production and publication of videos, which were later found to be partially falsified and selectively edited, by two conservative activists, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles. The activists used hidden camera recordings to portray low-level ACORN employees as engaging in criminal activity, apparently advising them on how to hide prostitution activities and avoid taxes. A nationwide controversy ensued, immediately resulting in a loss of funding from government and private donors, including legislative amendments to spending bills in the United States House and Senate prohibiting government funding of the group.
Following the publication of the videos and withdrawal of funding, four different independent investigations by various state and city Attorneys General and the GAO released in 2009 and 2010 cleared ACORN, finding its employees had not engaged in criminal activities and that the organization had managed its federal funding appropriately, and calling the videos deceptively and selectively edited to present the workers in the worst possible light. Despite this, by March 2010, 15 of ACORN's 30 state chapters had already closed and the group announced it was closing its remaining state chapters and disbanding.

Rick Perry Vetoed Texas Equal Pay Bill Under Pressure From Macy's, Kroger's
Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) received pressure from retailers to veto an equal pay bill.
Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) vetoed a bill this summer to help prevent wage discrimination after receiving letters against the measure from retailers like Macy's and Kroger Food Stores, according to documents newly obtained by the Houston Chronicle.
The bill would have brought Texas state law in line with the federal Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, which makes it easier for women to sue employers over wage discrimination.
SO, IS THIS A sign that Texas is being run by Corporate America? Is he associated with ALEC?

Chuck Todd: NBC Hillary Clinton Miniseries Is 'A Total Nightmare For NBC News'
Wait, this is still America, isn't it?
Why are the Repubs so against Hillary's miniseries?
If they don't want to watch it, then don't!
If they want to make a miniseries about one of their own, then do.
What is really going on here?
They keep telling you not to let the Gov't tell you what to do, and then they do the same. WEIRD!

Jack Villamaino, Former GOP Candidate, Gets 4 Months In Jail For Felony Voter Fraud
In the midst of his 2012 GOP primary campaign for a Massachusetts state House seat, Jack Villamaino changed the party affiliation of nearly 300 people in his town of East Longmeadow. Days later, the same number of absentee ballot requests were dropped off at the town clerk’s office, a list that was almost a “name-for-name match” for those whose registration information Villamaino had altered.
Earlier this week, Villamaino pleaded guilty to felony charges of stealing ballots and changing the party affiliation of 280 Democrats during his campaign for state representative. A judge sentenced him to a year in jail, only four months of which he'll be forced to serve behind bars.
IT IS A little strange, the same party that wants stricter voter laws, is the one committing felonies, WEIRD!

Paul Ryan Spending Cuts Face Backlash From Moderate Republicans
Tea party forces may have dominated the House GOP's approach to the budget so far, but pragmatists in the party have served notice they won't stand idly by for indiscriminate spending cuts to politically popular community development grants, education programs and even Amtrak.
Voting in the spring for the tea party budget developed by Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., who was Mitt Romney's vice presidential running mate last year, was one thing. But as long as a Democrat occupies the White House, Ryan's budget is little more than a nonbinding wish list – cutting Medicaid, Medicare and food stamps and slashing budgets for domestic agencies funded annually through appropriations bills.
