Walmart's New Health Care Policy Shifts Burden To Medicaid, Obamacare
Walmart's greedy arrogant move just may move heathcare to a single payer system faster (like Canada), which in my opinion is a Good thing!
Walmart employees need to unionize to fight for better wages so they can pay for their own health insurance.
Can't wait for the day when health insurance is taken out of the workplace. When you lose your job, you don't lose your coverage; no interruption!!!
Forward March Obamacares!!!!!

Keep in mind, Walmart is NOT a small struggling business.
Its profits are so high, they are looking for ways to spend it; why not on the grass roots of the operation (employees).
We should not boycott Walmart, but rather find businesses that DO THE RIGHT THING WITHOUT HAVING THEIR EMPLOYEES FORM A UNION!!!!
Walmart Execs seem to have forgotten that Walmart employees and customers "built that" and can also walk away!
If their employees are their "greatest assets", PROVE IT!!!!

10 Things The Fast Food Industry Doesn't Want You To Know
So many people who have healthcare today don't seem to care about others less fortunate. "If you don't care about others, they will not care about you." Cannot hide from God.
Hundred's of millions of dollars were given to Super Pacs this last campaign by HUGE corporations; why not create good jobs w/benefits. That is how to get people back to work and off of WELFARE. Simple math! So, what is really going on? How long before these corporations use Obamacares as an excuse to cut your hours (same work prductivity though and higher profits for them; like China)?
As consumers "We Built That"! They seem to have forgotten that and if we stand united, we can "Tear It Down"!!!!
It is time we support small businesses and single payer health insurance coverage (like Canada). Take the chains off your ankles. You don't want the Gov't to tell you how to live; why let Greedy Corporations?

Bobby Jindal Aides Use Personal Email To Strategize On Medicaid Cuts
This is what Sarah Palin did in Alaska.
What happened to the "transparency pledge"?
#134 Dec 11, 2012
They learned this transparency from the master of deceit,Obama!!!
#135 Dec 11, 2012
This would be true if not for the FACT that Palin and Jindal were in office FIRST!!!!! and made the PLEDGE, FIRST!!!!
Always good to check your facts!!!
By the way, in my opinion its not GOOD for ANY OF THEM to do it!

Heard that the schools will allow more grains and meat in the school lunches - no limits.
At a time when healtcare costs are up and cuts to Medicare are discussed on a daily basis, we are going to go backwards when it comes to our kids' nutrition. Why not more fruit and veggies?
I really don't get the math other than an increase in profits for Corporate farms!
Keep in mind, they had to move fast before the kids got too healthy and were able to focus on their schoolwork - you know - got use to healthy eating habits!
#137 Dec 27, 2012
I would much prefer my tax money to go to healtcare here in the USA than to killing people in other countries!
It is NOT about reading/memorizing/quoting the bible; but rather living it! More people will follow by example rather than you talking them to death!
Keep in mind, it has been reported that abortions are down thanks to Planned Parenthood. Why would you want to get rid of a program is giving you the results you said you wanted?

GOP Governors Deny The Poor Health Care In Opposing Obamacare's Medicaid Expansion
Where is God's compassion in all of this.(Perry and Jindal are pictured in this article)
Repubs are fighting for increases in defense spending (killing) and are against banning assault weapons and are against abortions; but have NO compassion for the poor and suffering.
I would love for Jindal to explain this to me. Why are we giving our sales tax revenue to FOR PROFIT businesses (by way of sales tax exemptions) and denying our needy citizens basic healthcare?(I read somewhere where sales tax exemptions used to total around $2 to $3 million a year; now over $230 milion.) What is really going on? All this sales tax loss and cuts to healthcare and education - doesn't sound like God's work to me.

Health Care Spending Target Could Save U.S.$2 Trillion Over The Next Decade, Study Finds
What is really going on with healtcare costs?
Why should Ins. Execs. be paid millions in compensation?
Isn't it time we take insurance (car, home, healthcare) out of the For Profit arena?

Arizona Medicaid Expansion Puts Jan Brewer On The Defensive
During her State of the State address last week, Brewer argued that Arizona shouldn't refuse the generous federal funding that comes with the Medicaid expansion, especially since the state already has a broader Medicaid program than most, and that Arizonans shouldn't pay federal taxes to support Medicaid expansions in other states but see none of the benefits themselves.
Why doesn't Jindal look at this way? Again, LA comes out on the short end of the stick. I guess stupid is stupid does.

Ohio Medicaid Expansion Backed By GOP Gov. John Kasich
Build it and they will come. It is the right thing to do; and many are going to do it. Why not Jindal?
Does LA have to be at the bottom for everything? even compassion?

Rick Scott Shifting Stance On Obamacare: From 'Devasting' To 'High-Quality Health Care'

Chris Christie Expected To Propose Medicaid Expansion: Report
One by one, other Repub Govs. are showing their compassionate side, where is Jindal's?
His mission seems to be, "give it all to big business and hope they come through with jobs, any jobs". It did not work for Reagan, will not work for Jindal. The definition of crazy "doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome".
It was reported today that LSU is in danger of losing their college ranking (top tier)and it maybe due to cuts.
Kinda makes you wonder what is really going on!
#144 Feb 26, 2013
Anything that big hog Christie is for i am against.Just look at him and you will know he knows nothing about health or heathcare.Go Bobby for president in 2016!!!!!!!

Lawmakers hold hearing on federal health care law
It seems to me that other parts of the country benefit from LA's O & G coastline, we should be compensated; why not by expanding Medicaid to cover the poor of our state?
Still don't understand Jindal's end game. With not wanting to help the poor of the state and giving hundreds of millions in tax exemptions to business, who does he represent again?

With the new found success in treating HIV, it would make sense that people receive affordable healtcare on an ongoing basis from an early age and that would "keep us all healthy".
Almost every week there is an article about how regular healthcare checkups "nip illnesses/diseases in the bud". The savings to all would come from less expensive treatment (drugs, change in diet and add exercise instead of surgeries and expensive treatment for late stage illnesses).
Why would you NOT want affordable healthcare for all? It may save your life one day. Think about it!
#147 Mar 16, 2013
Someone made the comment last night that there are some people who want to repeal it, but want to keep the perks, like limiting ins. admn costs, not denying coverage for pre-existing conditions, keeping their kids on the plan until 26 and NOT losing coverage when you need it most. Can't have it both ways.
Seems like Dominoes Pizza found a way around providing affordable healthcare coverage to their employees. Maybe it is time we find away around Dominoes Pizza.
Repubs in Congress admitted, when they were trying to get it overturned, they WILL NOT create a law to keep these things. Let insurance cos. decide, like before; which is why we have a crisis in healthcare today.
When all people cannot get affordable healthcare, then all people are at risk of the consequences.
Wouldn't it be terrible if after you paid all that money for premiums and someone without affordable healthcare gave you something that put you (or a family member) out of commission or worse, killed you?
Affordable healthcare is God's way. Greed and abuse of healthcare is the devil's work.
Think about it!
#148 Mar 16, 2013
If Obamacares is ever repealed, smokers, drinkers and overeaters would be in a hell of a fix and people like Paul Ryan will NOT care about you.
Just like Paul R. had SS benefits to help him get a college degree, today he enjoys taxpayer paid health insurance.
Now, who is the fool?
#149 Mar 16, 2013
I really don't think that the whole thing about Obama-care is bad but 5000 pages, that is totally ridiculous , allot of things need to be trimmed and some things taken out.It is way to massive for people to actually understand it!!!
