This is what's wrong with our country, my friend. Don't blame the gangbangers...oh no! That would be racist and irresponsible. Poor losers, it's not their fault! Insert "Gag", here!
There should be a law that would hold the loons that voted for this douche bag, accountable...something like, gross negligence to the American people!
Amazing article and liberals wonder why we think they are stupid!!!

It occurred to me that basically the "same" info we provide to the telephone company for smart phones (that track us and law enforcement has access to the phone usage) was shot down by Congress last week (universal background checks for weapons and Fed. registry).

I guess the NRA has a stronger hold on Washington (through K Street) than the US taxpayer (90% wanted background checks).

We need to start a grassroots campaign to TAKE BACK CONGRESS by eliminating K Street (just like they want to eliminate unions)!

Wayne LaPierre: Background Checks Measure 'Got The Defeat That It Deserved'

What is this fool talking about, 90% of Americans are IN FAVOR of at least background checks.

The failure of this bill only HIGHLIGHTS the power the NRA (through K Street) has over Congress (small % of Americans).

Time to CLEAN OUT CONGRESS!!!

Term Limits:

President - 6 year term (no re-elections)
Senate - 5 years (NO re-elections)
Reps - 3 years ( No re-elections)

No one voted into these office can EVER become a lobbyist (way to get rid of K Street)!

Who is with me?

Wayne LaPierre:'How Many Bostonians Wished They Had A Gun Two Weeks Ago?'

The suspects were not found out for four days, so who were the people of Boston going to shoot; innocent people that resembled the bombers?

Even if the guy (owner of SUV) had a gun with him, the element of surprise controlled the situation.

Do we really want to go back to the Wild Wild West?
Do we have that little regard for human life? LaPierre seems to.

Gov't (taxpayers) wanted to limit military style gun sales and a Universal Database for ALL SALES.

NRA is against it. Didn't want the Gov't to control the 2nd Amendment (or so they claimed).

Corporate American controls bullet (ammo) sales.

So, whose really in control?

Feel stupid yet?

National ASK Day:'Is There A Gun In Your Home?'

Do you have a gun in your home? Is it locked away from children? Is the ammunition stored separately?

Those are the questions pediatricians are being urged to ask their patients today. Every first day of summer is national ASK Day, which stands for Asking Saves Kids -- a way to bring attention to the fact that an estimated 40 percent of American households with children have guns and 88 percent of children who are victims of unintentional shootings are shot in their own home, or the home of a relative or friend.

The American Academy of Pediatrics has called guns in the home a health threat to children, and yet asking a parent about guns has somehow become a question of politics rather than safety. Being asked by a doctor is a small step toward bringing the subject back where it belongs. And maybe it will empower parents to start asking it of other parents -- which is the broader purpose of the day.

“Before I allow my child to over, may I ask if there is a gun in the house?”

Maybe one day the conversation will be as common as the ones parents are already having when they drop children off to play. A conversation about food allergies. And electronic use. And whether the dog is friendly.

Just a routine question. That could save a life.

So observe National ASK Day, by asking.

AFTER GETTING ALL THE FACTS, its not so political, is it?

If guns are so bad, why would prez Obama be so for arming Muslims and Mexicans?

Why not take all of the guns away from his 24/7 security team?

Obama never practices what he preaches. Doesn't that seem odd to you fools who would just drink the poison without queston?

He scoffs at the idea of his own family having Obamacare. Where is your common sense, America?

The point is, for child safety, ASK ABOUT THE GUNS IN THE HOUSE THAT YOUR KIDS ARE VISITING (and how the guns/ammo are stored).

It is about "gun safety" or are you against that too?

Kids killing kids and others happen so often, it does NOT even phase me anymore. Like car accidents, just waiting to hear where the latest event happened on the daily news.

As far as Obamacare, POTUS has the health coverage that Presidents are given. He has to have physical checkups (independent) on a regular basis as part of his job. I cannot believe you did NOT know this. Turn off Faux News!

As far as the rest of your post, I believe you went a little over the top.

It's easy. When the physicians asks about the guns in my home, my answer is "none of your damn business". My children were taught gun safety from the beginning. We had the good sense to teach them and to keep them safe. Sadly there are so many ignorant people out there who won't keep their firearms safely away from children and who won't teach the children to be afraid of them. Our kids were always afraid to touch or even try to touch our guns, but they were more afraid of us. Children these days are not taught to be respectful of anything, including parents and rules. And parents are not accountable. How can they be? Even the leader of our nation refuses to be held accountable for his own actions, or in most cases, his inaction. We don't need gun control, we need "stupid people" control.

I have no problem with gun ownership in the right hands for the right purpose. TOO often innocent people are killed because the wrong people, although good people, misused them or did not store them in the proper way.
I will ALWAYS be behind strict gun laws. Guns kill people. Good qualified citizens will NEVER have a problem passing the test. Need to keep a database of gun owners. Strict laws make it more difficult for criminals to get weapons (nothing is fool proof).
Being the 4th dangerous state in the union is NOTHING to be proud of. Just means we have alot of work to do.
