Does not matter how he acquired it. The first crime is what she did. The source of the booze needs to be investigated but as additional charges to that person, not as as an excuse for Mcdermott.

And they should prosecute him or her according to the law. However, regardless of who supplied it to him, he got behind the wheel, he drove, he hit the bicylists and he ran off and HE should be prosecuted for THAT crime.

So this guy was already half in the bag early Saturday Morning or was he still sobering up from the night before? Could be wake and bake. Cagers need to be more aware of travelers on two wheels...

The source of the booze should not even come into play. 18 is old enough to die for in the service our our country. This Cager struck down and ran from 2 people on two wheels and that should be dealt with.

I completly agree. The source of booze is a completly different issue. He was 18 and old enough to know better, drunk or not.He committed the crime and should be charged and pnished accordingly.
