You are so right, some people are just idiots and miss the point.
All Town employee salaries should be found easily on the internet, so that when budgets are voted they can make educated decisions.
The grammer is not as important as the results, but some people need to put in their two cents worth!!
Time to cut Town personnel, such as the Granby Community Developer Position that gets paid an unbelievable $125,000+, plus benefits.
You are so right...for WHAT??
For a Town of 11,000 people that is far too much for the far too little that this position has done to keep taxes down!
Waste of money with the State of the Economy!

niw we need to lay-off more Town Workers in order to balance the budget and not increase Taxes!

Let's start with the Community Developer, Fran Armentano, who makes over $125,000 plus benefits! Next we could find Town workers that can be shared with other Towns.

Voice you opinion now, or forever see higher and higher Taxes. We need some Check and balances in this Town!!

We need to see everyone's Salary and benefits on the internet and then decide who and what position is worth keeping, tyhis is the same thing that the Attorney General has asked for,,, the "Right-to-Know"

Stand up and be heard!!

Just as the other Unions are making cuts, the Teachers Union and the Town Workers need to make cuts or see lay-offs to keep any Tax Increase from happening next year.

Time for the people TO Stand up and Fight!!!

Building more housing does not lower the tax rate. More neighborhoods mean more students, teachers, staff, and facilities that the taxpayers must support.
It seems we have gotten away from where this discussion began. The preservation of open space elevates the quality of life through preservation of beauty.
Keep the development centrally located and don't mess up the rest of this town too!

Don't like the town charter that permits 200 people to decide the Granby budget? Hey, it's a perfect way to get the budget passed. It's brilliant! Who do you think proposed it?
They did it this way in the 18th century, so who cares if we live in the 21st century.

If a couple of thousand people show up at the Town Hall meeeting to vote, things will change. Or do we need new leadership?

The Town of Granby needs new leadership....there is none with the current "Old Wood" administration.

The Town is about as corrupt as the State was under Rowland!!!
