Your ideal & my ideal of taking care of children are obviously different! Letting your elementary age children run the streets at 10:30pm & later is not acceptable to most good parents. And the fact that they are in groups makes no difference. Just this weekend a group of about 10 elementary girls blocked the whole street with a rope going across it and wouldn't let cars pass. This was at 11:15 at night. The oldest looked to be 10 years old!! That is absolutely unacceptable behavior from the children and also from the parents that raised then to think this is funny.
Just because you drive a luxury car or have a fancy kept up house doesn't mean you are great people. You pay people to keep up the outside of the house & a mobile car detail company to clean your cars. You all don't "keep up" with anything, you hire it out.....
do not come on here bashing travellers! just because they are outside in group doesnt mean that their parents dont care about them, if that is the case who was watching your school aged chld while you were busy on here bad mouthing people. you need to get a life instead of talking down on people you know nothing about. you cant say they are any worse then half of the non traveller kids who ride around on their bikes breaking in to our homes and numerous other wreckless things!

Touch a nerve did I? My kids are at school while I'm on here, just FYI. This is a pulic forum, I'm allowed to speak my mind, as are you. I only say what I can see first hand. Calm down take a deep breath. All is ok. You have your life style & I have mine. We don't have to agree, that's what makes America the best place to live.... Have a great day.

I get the impression "Lives" that you think "Get lost" is a I.T..I could certainly be wrong but that's not the impression I got..Either way their point as I gathered it was that you seem to have a real bias against a group of people who's big crime against you was kids not getting out of your way fast enough on a neighborhood street that they live in..Outsized to say the least.

Agree with you Lives in the Neighborhood Wrote. Do think that kids being out that late at night and stretching a rope across the street is a little more serious than just not getting out of the street soon enough. Oh, well, of course they are just sweet kids getting into a little mischief when mom and dad's eye or not on them. LOL Only problem they are doing it when mom and dad's eyes are on them.

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt in any event on this one Lost" ..I.T. children do tend to stand out..In a country full of mixed ethic, and regretfully mixed racial people, the I.T's. are at this point a oddity..Any public place my wife & I go people (mostly older) remark on what beautiful children we have...Now I think my kids are gorgeous, but it's more than that that adds to their appeal..

If you all could only live near them. Material wise the children are taken care of, but in the ways that truly matter, they are lacking....
I never only mentioned just the kids being in the streets, that's just what you all focused on. There are seriously signs in EVERY establishment around here that children are not allowed in without parents ONLY because of the I.T. kids. Last week my friend was at the dollar tree and the police had to be called (this happens a lot, but this time my friend was there) because the I.T. kids were throwing rocks at the manager who was outside on a smoke break.
I had a friend come over last week (for the 1st time) and was in shock when they got to our house and said that there were child prostitues walking by the school. I had to explain the whole I.T.s to them. Yes they have GREAT morals (from what I can find out about them online) but they seriously dress like prostitues. I can attest to their actions but as far as personally getting to know them, that's not possible. They only talk to other I.T.s. So there's no way to ever give a full description of them. But I believe with all my heart that actions speak louder than words, and their actions are pretty loud!
This is something that can't be understood or even truly comprehended unless you can experience it for yourselves.

We do live by different rules than settled people..You'd have to be well into your 60's or 70's to remember the moral code we live by..Our girls can dress anyway they want..We all know each other..NOT a bunch of strangers...Settled society would benefit loads by following our examplesl on hard work and Chastity...Or keep voting for Socialist..

<quoted text> So, You should be delighted..Home values go up in a neighborhood when property owners keep those homes nice..Whether they do so themselves , or hire a professional.
You keep skirting the issues she is speaking of. The only thing you said that made sense was the safety in numbers comment. House values don't go up due to being well lets and high end cars parked out there. It seems funny to me a common issue I see is the kids. While you people have the right to raise your kids as you see fit. The IT kids do infact act like heathen kids. They pack up so they are safe but they act up as well. Now I'm not just pointing if gers at IT kids for acting up. But you know they do but you fail to admit it.

The IT people could be great neighbors to anyone if they would just chill and stop preaching their old world ways are better than yours crap. You want to be accepted and acknowledged. Yet you shun what goes on outside your own group except our money. And that is the key to it all. If the money was to dry up then so would all the bullshit that the IT people have created.

Keep you kids in at night take them to the store yourself. You can keep you old ways and culture without being disruptive and disrespectful to others and the kids are just that. It's the same story over and over. I simply have no respect for anyone of the IT community because they do not show respect back. If you are non IT people you are regarded as a possible ATM machine for them.

Wrong wrong wrong I know plenty of travellers who are nice to outsiders! But look at the way settled people treat travellers they call is gypsies and yell and throw things at us for no reason. And stores follow us around like we are going to steal everything. Setteld people push us away so we stick to our own because its who you can trust and you arent going to be treated wrong. So if you want us to be more accepting of yous then something needs to change. How would you feel if your kids got called names and 5 timed by all the settled kids. Ever though that maybe they take taxis so they dont have to walk to the store like other settlwd kids do because they wouldnt make it there without being tormented so we arent the outsiders we're just being careful.

I must disagree with you on several talking points here. I have read these blogs from other travelers and other conversations. Others state they keep to themselves to keep their race pure. To keep outside influences from clouding the children's minds. Fact part of the reason IT kids are pulled from school at such an early age. They get just enough to have to bare basics of reading writing and math. You have your own neighborhoods which is fine your all family. Store owners follow you people around cuz the kids roll into the store in a pack and creat such a disturbance while other kids are stuffing their pockets. I have seen it with my own eyes as well as several tapes from store footage. It's not right to call your kids names I can't say anything but sorry for that. As far as them taking a taxi the only prob it when they get where they are going they are unsupervised. By all means a taxi is much safer than walking the streets. You just painted a scene at y'all are the way you are because of non IT people when it's the other way around. You have your old customs and ways your own language and trades your own bar. You don't want outsiders knowing your business so you can run your business and keep your own traditions.

That's not something to brag about!! Your 15 year old should be in school getting an education instead of "working" like an adult. Sad that you all think the world revolves around money. You should be letting your children expand their knowledge instead of pulling them out of school after 4th grade. Just by reading ITs responses on this forum, you can tell the level of education isn't the greatest.
My children will most likely have a job at 15, but not to be compared to an adult. They need to learn responsibility & take care of their own gas & spending money. Definitely not an adults income to support a house/family. They are still children & need to be treated as such.
