You want someone who is so sketchy with this type of reputation on the animal shelter board?!?!
Way to be informed.

This isn't even all of it. Who the HELL is responsible for making this decision? I have always supported this city but this is just a sad mistake to give this person any type of attention.

Who are you kidding? You've never supported the city. Supporting the city takes more than showing up at city council meetings occasionally and whining about everything.

Is this REALLY how you spend your time? You are actually worried that someone other than you is going to get attention? That's what you think volunteer service to the community is about, attention? She's not worthy is she? Why? Because she doesn't complain enough? She must not be the expert at slandering people and then claiming they have a bad reputation. Too bad there isn't a board for that. You would be chairing it. Then you would get the attention you deserve.
Let's ask the city to organize a board called, Whiners, Not Doers. That's your board.

Who or what in the heck are you talking about? I went to the site on the post AND who or what in the heck are you talking about. That site told me ABSOLUTLY NOTHING!

I hear Marsha Brown is running around now trying to do a feel good article about the shelter, this after trashing the shelter a little over a year ago. I have also noticed she lowered the price of her mag. Must not be selling very well. Too bad she doesn't just ride off into the sunset. I guess the above poster missed the tax delinquent law suit brought by the city, et al.

According to the city website, she is on the shelter advisory board. I assume the city council makes those appointments.

Do some more research. Anyone can do a search of taxes due. She is at a $0 balance. I can see a lawsuit in the future with the incorrect rhetoric going on in this string.

What part of "Filed on 02/15/2007" and "Disposition: 03/02/2009 - AGREED JUDGMENT" are you unable to understand?

BTW, in case your math isn't so good, March 2, 2009 is 3 years ago and February 15, 2007 is 6 years ago.

Talking to me? I was just pointing out that a law suit was filed and settled. Why it took over two years to settle, I do not know. You are of course free to go to the court house and read the file; just take the case number. However, it would not have been filed if she had paid her taxes when due. It's as simple as that. And the taxing authority is slow to file law suits, it can drag on for years; depends on if they think the tax payer is making a sincere effort to pay. Who knows what years the suit actually covered.

Actually, if you go to CIVIL CASE SEARCH, you will see that there are 3 different cases.
1 filed in 2005, 1 filed in 2007, and then 1 filed in 2012 which had a TRIAL TODAY but says "hearing removed by court"
Guess who the judge is?
CRAIG TOWSON
DO YOU THINK THAT PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP IS GOING TO PRODUCE A FAIR TRIAL?!?!
Don't think so!!!
AND WHY WAS SHE APPOINTED TO SOME TYPE OF MANAGING BOARD WITH THIS TYPE OF OPEN CASE?
Does nobody think she shouldn't be questioned when put in charge of part of a ruling commitee?
Btw, the house that she lived in before this one? EVICTED. Was it for not paying the taxes? Why can't WE ask our council these questions now about their judgement on approving her for this?
Obviously no one stopping you from asking anything because you just asked all those questions.

If you honestly want answers, I suspect it would be in your favor to ask them in person or in writing with your name on them.

But, knowing your love for unsubstantiated rumor-mongering, if all you want to do is try and start new rumors then I suppose this place will suit your purpose just fine.

Grumpy and jealous. What's your problem? Diet isn't really, working is it?
Poor thing! You've been a little grumpy ever since they shot your spider. What's the matter? Can't you afford to buy a new one? I see the elastic is still holding up in your grandmama jeans. Nobody would appoint you as anything more than fat witch. Take comfort, Halloween is a scant 9 months away.

Whoever read her article to you a year ago must have read it wrong. Go buy new Big Mama jeans.

If you don't like her why don't you just cast a spell on her? That'll do it! Put on your pointy hat and get your spider out and she'll be hexed by morning.

Yes. Life as we know it will end! No more chance of world peace and the city will go back to burning witches at the stake again and there will be a prohibition on blow up spiders on buildings. They'll stop selling big girl jeans at Walmart. It will be terrible.
