With an eye to the future!

With a new city council in place come May 2013 our hopes of a revitalized downtown are sparked!

Record sales tax receipts are certainly proof that the city council hates local business.

Yes I guess I am a Socalist. All I know is I would rather be a member of the Socalist Party, than what we have in this so called current Capitalism. With regululations removed during the Bush Administration, Capitalism lost all "Balence" and fairness to Americans, and resulted in the greatest divide in American history between the classes of people, namely the shrinking Middle Class. It is shameful what has been dome by the Tea Party and other Republicans, holding the poor the diaabled, and the elderly to major funding cuts, while lavishing the Rich and Corporations with massive tax cuts, and many of them paying no taxes at all. I have to say I am not that kind of a Christian, which I believe many have been decieved by modern Money Changers.
They allowed the big Banks and Wall Street which construed illegal bundled diritives, that led to the theft of millions of homes, retirements and safety nets that protected the most vunerable. President Franklin D. Roosevelt saved America from the last Republican economic destroyer, President Herbert Hoover, during the 1930s.

Guess dj is concerned his free handouts for benefits are in jeopardy. Who will pay his utility bill next month? Don't believe he has ever held a full time job. Has he ever paid taxes? Maybe dj could go to work fixing all those problems on north side . Get out your shovel and fix a few holes in the street. You might get a new appreciation For those who have worked hard all their lives to try to be self sufficient. Work engages the mind and soul. Give it a go. The rest of us are tired of paying for your social benefits. Get a job.
