I asked, "where can someone find the order from the State to the City that the water and sewer lines have to be moved? It's in the public record, isn't it?"
The lying rumormonger who I asked refused to post an answer so I asked David Mask, who is Weatherford's Assistant Director of Water Utilities, where I could find the Administrative Order from the State that requires Weatherford to dig up the water and sewer lines because the sewer lines are leaking raw sewage into the water lines.
Mr. Mask says Weatherford is not under any such Administrative Order from the State. In fact, he says Weatherford has one of the lowest infiltration rates of any municipality in Texas. That means our water lines are in better condition than the lines of nearly every other jurisdiction in the State.
Any poster who makes the accusation that Weatherford's sewer lines are leaking into the city's water lines is a liar.
Did you read that, Tawni?
You and your little band have been proven to be lying that the State has issued an Administrative Order that Weatherford must replace our water and sewer lines.
Now shut up about it.
If you were in Mr. Mask's position would you risk your job and retirement confermining somthing that the city cannot afford to have confirmed to the public? maybe the city should go on record publicly in the newspaper and from the City council podium to ease the fears of the public on this matter. Why don't you suggest that to the Water Department and Health Department and the head of the Utility department and our Utility Board whose responsibility it is to keep our drinking water safe. See how far you get with that suggestion. There has been a great deal of discussion around the city for this to be just a rumor. Questions like this have to be answered not smothered. The issue is too important. The citizens of this town deserve to be taken seriously when issues like this surface. Hopefully this is just something that has occured because of info misunderstood or it is a real deal and everyone needs to know of a very serious situation the town is facing.

These people have REAL work to do. They don't have to hold press conferences everytime someone with aluminum foil on their head comes up with a conspiracy. I'm glad you checked with Mr. Mask. Too bad Tani never called to "confermin" the rumor she made up and created "fears of the public."
You have your answer. Go butt a stump.

Ease the fears of the public? You are the only person that I have heard even mention this. I hardly think the public is in fear. The city hasn't addressed it because its not an issue. And to publicly address anything you and your little group of idiots spout out would be to give you a small bit of credibility. Nobody wants to do that. Please go away until you have something true to say. You are a complete waste of oxygen.

Hell man, I've heard that the moon landing was faked. Does NASA need to hold a news conference to say it wasn't?
NO
I've heard that the world was going to end last month. Where are all those idiots?
If you get your news or information from the irresponsible posters on this site, you are as dumb as they are.

You are lying and an idiot. Why don't you all do some homework and call Austin to see what the state govt mandated. It is true. And the city of weatherford doesn't even know where many fo the water/sewer lines are buried. That info went to the grave with a very unhappy ex city employee years ago. That is the truth

Used to work for the COW Waste Water Dept. Supervised the laying of the big line through Soldier Spring Park in the seventies.
There are waste water line maps that date back to the first treatment plant. The new maps have been updated and include old info, even though most of the old lines were replaced a little at a time on an annual basis.
Sewer lines are not hard to find. You go manhole cover to manhole cover.
But from what I have read here, you don't worry yourself with reality or facts.
If some dead retired/fired ex employee was mouthing about being the only one who knows where something is, he was out of the same mold as some of the UFO experts.
You'll probably label me as one of the council members

Just wait and see about the issue of the sewer and water lines. That is something that cannot be shoved underneath the table for long. I do not care if believe or agree with me. You guys are really living up to the opinion a lot of us have of our fearless leaders and their fan club or dummies. Every time you have a fit and try to debunk an effort to inform folks of serious issues you jump right into denial as quick as a wink. Just helps to prove the facts for sure. Get a grip--the times they are a'changing! Have a glass of good old city water! LOL!

A lage part, downtown area, of the the water/sewer systems are about 100 years old built with 4 foot sectons of clay pipe. Would not you think it's time to replace them. When this system was built one trench was dug and both sysems places in that trench.
And who said it needed to be an adm order. Could it not been passed in a general converation. If it was an order would it not cost the cit more?

BINGO, "a general converation" otherwise known as a rumor that has no basis in fact. Tawni started that rumor on her Facebook wall and you both have been trying to spread it ever since.
You have failed.
only Liars on this website are som scared people who think deflecting their corruption onto a woman who has nothing to do with their coming repercussions will clear them. Not going to help you on city council and on boards who are on,y there to line your pockets. Tawni Maughan has bowed out but we have not. Insult her all you want. We don't care.

I noticed that noone ever produced or has seen with their own eyes a State document about our drinking water being contaminated?
So that was a bald-faced lie?

Tawni's little crew called him a liar.
He is a city employee, progranda is his stock and trade.
What do you expect of a serinor management type of the city. The facts.

Hudson Oaks uses the Weatherford waste water treatment plant for their sewer waste treatment, why don't they use Weatherford water tratment plant for drinking water? Is it because the see and understand the test results published every six months of what is "really" in the Weatherford drinking water?
