Onlylogic wrote: This is the most wonderful news of the decade. Now the illegal "Indians" will go back to their country. I have watched hundreds of Illegal Immigrants get off the bus and walk to the building of Farmers Insurance. I hope Farmers goes out of business. They are scam artists. 9014 We are happy to see all the "Indians" go back to where they came from. I'm disappointed in this company for hiring immigrants and moving them all into Simi Valley. I'm a single mother of one child, I work here in Simi and also and I rent a apartment here in Simi. So far, the only neighbors they have been renting to are these "Indians" who work for at the Farmers Insurance Building. They move their entire families into a one bedroom apartment. I'm sure that's breaking some sort of safety code. A family with four adults and two children live above us currently. They are very loud and don't seem to speak English very well and the women are all pregnant. I don't appreciate this at all. If you drive through the parking lot over at the Farmers Insurance Building, all I see is Indian men and a few women... the license plates don't even look real for some odd reason and they are all out of state plates. It's very strange and fishy. I agree with OnlyLogic on this. PLEASE HIRE AMERICANS! We are in a real crisis here in the USA & even worse here in California... and State Farm Insurance is not helping. I just hope we get some good companies to fill up that building. That will hire locals and KEEP SIMI CLEAN & American. State farm should just relocate their entire company over seas and get the hell out of here! We are praying for small business owned by Americans to rent those offices out to our local people.

Hi SimiValleyFirst, USA is a country of immigrants and native people. Everybody who lives in USA legally, has a right to live their life wherever they are. You sound racist in your overtone. Try to change your attitude. SimiFamilyFirst wrote: <quoted text> We are happy to see all the "Indians" go back to where they came from. You sound racist in your overtone. Try to change your attitude. <quoted text> So you support Shira Law? After all, you just said 'Everybody who live in USA legally has a right to live their life wherever they are.' What about those who live her illegally? To they also have that right? According to the Socialists, the answer is 'yes'. Similarly, why are companies like Farmers permitted to 'import' clerks from India? I can understand important jobs like Engineering or technology - something which we in this country may be lacking due to our substandard quality of higher education; but clerks? This is an entry level position; primarily consisting of data entry. A cashier at McDonalds or Del Taco (across the street from the Simi Valley Farmers Building) can do without much required in training or experience. The jobs in America need to be made available to Americans first; those that can't be filled for reasons stated above can then be 'farmed out' to immigrants on specials visas. Not Vice-Versa. Regarding businesses in the area suffering from the loss of patronage when these people leave (are they really leaving, or are they going to somehow wind up on the welfare rolls like the illegals from down south do?)- I don't think seven or 8 Indians walking into Burger King and ordering a couple of container of large fries no longer doing so is going to hurt Burger King. So they loose $10.00 a day. As a Simi Valley resident who works in this town - and as somebody who has seen what I just described - it is fries (or similar) that they order. Hindus don't eat meat. Regards shopping at other venues (clothing, etc.)- haven't seen them. Maybe for ethnic food at Ralphs, but not at Target. Never saw that. Losing them is no loss. Hopes that whoever takes over the building hires using e-verify and hires locally instead of importing labor. We have our own problems with unemployment. We don't need to be fixing the problems of the world while ignoring our own.

I worked there as a lead engineer before I left...
The whole place stinks: it is the smell the most difficult thing to support when working there because of the food they eat that impregnate their clothes more than their hygiena I guess but who knows (see below)
They are packed, sometimes 200 on a big open space every floor, one every 4 feet, sharing desks, but if you've been in Bangalore and you've seen how they are treated there I guess they are happy here.
They are "nice" folks though but they live like dogs and they import their crap and substandard culture here.
Why do we have to support such an invasion is beyond me but our "leaders" like the cheap labor.
Most indians you see in Simi Valley work for Cap Gemini (a big french consulting company) and are paid literally peanuts.
They don't participate in local (Simi Valley) economy. They save all they can, never go to restaurants, clothing stores and just buy rice in bulk and eat it.
They pack themselves 4 in a 1 bedroom apartment and live there like cockroaches (I've been there one day "invited" and I didn't know where to sit because it was so filthy...)
Some told me in many place home they have one toilet for hundreds residents so be careful when you shake their hands (they never wash after going to restrooms as I can see...)
As I said, they are "nice" people but they will be nicer if they all went back home.
Good riddance for Simi Valley residents
N.B: I don't live in Simi Valley

I used to live in the Simi Valley – Archstone apartments. This month I moved to Woodland Hills. I like Woodland Hills especially because there is CheeseCake factory out there. I hope that Simi Valley can find a good company to occupy this building in Simi Valley.

Go back where you came from. You don't have the right to come here and steal jobs. Why don't you go back to N-land india, and concentrate on building some toilets

The place smells like shit, everyone is packed in like lice ( they probably do have lice ), no one speaks English, it's dirty, the quality of the work is crap, and a bunch of tax-paying citizens get displaced in the process. Shame on Farmers, and Simi Valley for even allowing this to occur. When will these job-robbers go home for good ? Oh happy day....

Good one guys...what an american culture you guys are showing by above mail thread.....for us the smell of any...any animal....cheese is as stinking as anyone can think of....are you really human being or Animals..who can eat anything.......now come about job.......why don't you try to raise your mental standards and compete with any person coming across the world.....rather than discussing racial n other stupid things.......talking about hygiene.....see your immunity guys.......every other day you guys take sick leave or doctor appointment.....or any other personal crap......don't know about relationship.....changes life partner like bed sheets.......there are N number of differences we see all over world.......but guys if you really wish to live good life.......raise ur mental standrd so that your companies n ur leaders do not think of calling anybody from outside US and then talk all that rubbish.........we do save for our future..n do not believe in use and throw things....as there are lots of poor people in thing world so it is not a good idea to waste things.......believe in home made clean and healthy food....so do not eat often outside.....and save for our future and for giving convenience to our elders because we are not like you....the parents who do every possible thing for you to grow good in life...you leave them alone in their old age........you can find many old age americans struggling alone....but you can never find any old age Indian living alone, without their lovable kids......neways.......there is a saying- "Great cultures are built on a diversity of background, experience, and interests. So respect people and Celebrate differences!" .......if you do this...then you will feel and grow happy...rather than raising fingers on others.......Good luck guys......
