Picture this! What would you do? Going to the Doctor, or maybe she's a doctor, can't tell anymore with all the practicing nurses now a day. When asked her position, I'm given, " I am sort of a doctor", with a wave of the hair and a giggle. This is the first red flag that signaled my BEWARE sense. I should of put up my white flag and surrendered then and left. But didn't think would take an act of congress to get a simple script for an ear infection. The nurse didn't take my temperature or my blood pressure. The nurse/doctor glanced at ear then trumped me up with all kinds of tests, blood tests, urine tests, xrays. All of course that had to be administered prior to receiving a simple antibiotic. Keep in mind, no fever, no sinus infection, just a simple run-of- the- mill earache. I also noticed there wasn't a male in the office, and the tension between the nurse? and doctor? could be cut with a knife. This was time for me to raise my white flag and walk out, still having to pay $56.00 co pay WITHOUT GETTING AN ANTIBIOTIC.

TIP: Pharmaceutical grade amoxicillin and other antibiotics may be purchased at any pet supply store.

Needless to say my ear is much better and back at work. And no I didn't grow any fins!

Folks! Could this visit be real! Unbelievable!
I'm still shaking my head in confusion!

I feel your pain! But forgive the laughter! I went there some time ago and got YELLED at because I was down to 1 pack cigs a day from 3 packs. It was all I could do to get out of there without lowering myself to her standard and not laughing at her. Needless to say, I picked up a carton and deliciously enjoyed imagining flicking a butt in her face. BTW I'm doing great on quit, but they lost my business. Even if a Doctor?Nurse? can't be supportive, we can support each other. And when I went, It looked like the staff staged an abandon ship manuver. So I take it, they got fed up with her too.
