The reward amount is based on the information that is received .....

He is on bond with several bonding companies in two counties. He has had his bond in Taylor county revoked for $50,000 . If he turns himself in he can fight the revocation and stay out on bond . Right now he is running , which makes him seem very guilty.

OK, based upon the posts that I've read in this topic it sounds as if the bondsman is getting worried that he will have to fork over any where between $25,000 to $50,000 to the Court for failing to keep tabs on this moron. Furthermore, since the person offering the reward has not posted an amount, only saying that the amount of the reward is based upon the information given. Who is to judge how good the information is and how "LARGE" is the reward.
One other thing. If this post was started by the bondsman (which I strongly suspect it was) why didn't the bondsman keep better track of this idiot and did they even bother to get any information from him before they bonded him? Also, once again, if this post was started by a bondsman, then you need to get off your lazy rearend and start doing your own legwork. I've never had another bondsman that worked in Taylor county resort to this armchair bonding tactic.

So what are you saying just asking? Do you mean that the whole reward thing is a hoax or a sick joke? You post was somewhat cryptic.

So let me get this straight. Is it the cops who want J.D. Moyer or the (and I'm going out on a limb with this) the bonding company and if it neither, why would a private individual put up a reward without having the police being involved? For that matter if the police were actively seeking J.D. Moyer why aren't they one the mainstream media (TV and newspaper) touting this "reward ". Just wondering

in reading the post here it sounds to me like shad-o-ryder is or was a bondsman in taylor county at one time.he stated"i have never had another bondsman that worked in taylor county resort to this armchair bonding tactic"which are you a bondsman, former bondsman or apolice officer or magistrate or judge former or present? i see where just askin was wanting to have a phone conversation with shad-o-ryder what happened with that?

Was never a bondsman. I am merely someone who likes to follow crime and court news. I believe that if someone is going to offer a reward than they should at least tell people who the are, why they are offering the reward and the amount of the reward. Is that really to much to ask? As far as the phone call I too am still wondering.

i think who ever is offering the reward they are ashamed to say that as a bonding company and that is who is offering the reward they have layed down on the job and did not get enough info and put enough restrictions on jd to be able to keep the proper track of him.now they are in a tissy and do not know what to do about the problem, and are going to try to do what they can to catch him and are depending on other people to do their job for them before the court makes the bonding co.write that $50,000.00 check.but they will not say what kind of $$$ they are willing to pay to have him caught, and yes there is such a person as a bounty hunter that makes a living doing this kind of work, and yes i know a man who does this kind of work but he aint cheap

Ben, I do believe you have hit the nail right on the head. I could not agree with you more. Yes there are bounty hunters and most bonding companies (at least in this area) do their own hunting. Just think we may see Dog the Bounty Hunter in WV. That wfunnybe funny, could you see him go waltzing through WV. What a hoot!!!!!!

he would'nt last 5 minutes down in the southern counties of w.va.if he would go down there maybe they would or could find him and maybe they would'nt or could'nt.one thing about it if you are going to bounty you had better know what your doing or don't even start.aaa bonding states they have 5 of the best bounty hunters in w.va.working for them but i know they don't because i know one of the best in this state personnaly.he hunts for companies all over the u.s.and he can prove it.as the old saying goes"if you can't run with the big dogs then stay on the porch"

you are dreamin,i can see right now you dont have a clue as to what is going on with this.the bonding co.has a forfieture hearing on 5/02/2012 in taylor county,if they dont have a clue or a good excuse then right the check.and hump dog id like to see you try to catch a fugitive, you probably could not smell where he pi$$ed let along catch any one.and if you would dare call this bounty hunter a queer to his face he would jack slap you to sleep then slap you again to wake you up and tell you why he put you to sleep.you are the one that was spotted on your knees the other night and ran when the law came to have their turn
