More taxpayer resources wasted chasing a harmless plant. They will probably try to steal the property too ! The dea is nothing more than an out of control government agency that needs to be abolished!

There are different agencies for different crimes - let them do the jobs they are trained to do.

You don't understand, this was not town folks making a few bucks. These were illegal aliens living in tents out in the field. That small town has had one problem after another.

This particular piece of information makes me a lot more enthusiastic in my support of this action.

You can talk about legalizing it or going after other drugs but ultimstely on thing is true IT IS STILL ILLEGAL. And statistics show that the most popular drug of choice is marijuna. So what do you think most of the murders and child molesters use? Wait......we can legalize one drug then another then another. Before long Heroin will be legal. I think Arizona has the right idea!!!!!!! Good job DEA keep up the good work.

First off no they lived in a House right by where they were Growing it all.. They should just legalize it! They spend all there time on busting people for marijuana.. Legalize it and they won't have a problem with it.. Prisons are mostly people with a drug bust! Its dumb!

Where did you get your information? The man they arrested told the police his illegals were living in tents, not a house. Legalizing it would only make more problems because you would have these dumb potheads operating expensive equipment and killing people driving on the highways. Wake up and smell the roses instead of the pot.

They weren't in a house.

It was an elaborate operation, way beyond your mom&pop pot growers. I'm sure we'll find out soon this has a direct cartel affilliation. We should be concerned these types of operations are moving out of Mexico.

There were several busts....not just one that day....the illegals were living in a trailer, and others in apartments. I don't believe that all this mess could extend from growing pot. There has to be more to the story, whatever the case may be, I agree with "Just Me". I think that where there are drugs, there is an extention of crime from "just smokeing pot". I have to live here and I have children to raise. i don't want them to see this kind of thing happen in our own back yard. We should not have to live in fear of what is to happen next! Maybe we should be paying more attention to the people around us, and not care if people think your too nosy.

I know exactly what most murderer and child molesters use.

ALCOHOL

I'm always amazed at the stupidity of people. The drug war has failed by every measure, yet we continue to tax and spend billions of dollars for our 'safety'. Do you feel safer now that these benign plants have been chopped?
