friends for pound paws

what do people really think of this group? i hear good and bad. more bad of course i do not know that much about the group fill me in...

Let me just tell you they are amazing. They're an amazing group of strong people. They do so much for the town and all the animals in it and all out of volunteer! No matter what anyone says bad about the group, anyone can trust and rely on that group for anything! Take my word!

well i had heard of the group and did not know thank you for your input. i just moved here two months ago and had kittens dropped off at my door did not know what to do with them so took them to the spca. does this happen alot around here?

Love this group and everything they stand for! So glad theres someone else out there that loves and speaks for the animals. I will always support this group and keep donating to them .

They rescue and have adopted out many many animals, cats and dogs! Pretty amazing to me considering they don't even have a building! The work out of a small office in Spilmans garage and have all their animals in amazing foster homes! I heard they should have their building built by next year so they should be able to handle and take more cats and dogs.

Sadly, many cats and kittens are dropped off in this community. at least there is an organization here that can take a few of them.

You might want to check the source of the people doing the bad mouthing. Friends 4 Pound Paws is a group of very hard working individual's who VOLUNTEER their time 24 hours a day 7 days a week for dogs and cats! I'm not going to sit in this thing and bad mouth ANYONE, please if you want to know the truth about this group come into the office, grab a brochure or one of our newsletters, learn for yourself, please don't get your information from people that have been trying to shut us down for 2 years, shows what kind of people they really are. More bad "of course" you are so predictable! If I actually believed you moved to Gouverneur 2 months ago i would be as stupid as you, 1- your concerned? About what? 2-what bad could you actually hear about a rescue group? 3- if you don't know much about the group..pick up the phone and call them!! You just might learn a few things.

am i lost here or what i did not see anybody on here bad mouthing the group read again. to concerned this is a very hard town here. people are usually not friendly. it is a rough town. now i will say yes the group is a good group, they do good for the animals but i do appologize for who ever wrote nasty. but the majority of the group are not like that honestly. they treat the animals very well and find them homes.you will hear good and bad about everything in this town. everybody. but yes feel safe to take any cat or kittens to them or call them..they will help. or you can drive to the spoa... good luck..

Maybe because no one takes or wants the big dogs, they save their lives, vet them, spay/neuter them and some have actually spent over a month with a wonderful dog trainer, then adopt them out:) no sane person should have an issue with this!
