Great comeback! Tim does lie constantly! We chose to also deal elsewhere after many years of dealing there. He especially likes to lie to women and is very degrading. Reported him but got the same response from the owner. But, you are right, make your own decision.

Well all car sales people are out to make money give less for your trade make you pay more for new! Don't blame them they do that for a living! It's the people who go buy a car that has no clue about anything and don't get what they want so that makes the dealership bad! Grow up

Well I'm so old I have purchased 6 vehicles from Tammy. The toughest was the Ford truck since I have owned GMC trucks since 1964. I held my breath to drive a Ford truck, but i hope to continue to purchase Ford trucks from Blevins and Tammy for as long as I live. I have 3 Ford focus in my family from Blevins and I love the little cars. If you think for a minute purchasing a car out of town will save you money, education is expensive. Many thanks for all that you do for our community, Tammy ,Dave, and Tim Smoot. Thanks.

Nope, don't work there, don't have family members who work there. I treat everyone there with respect and get the same in return. They are NOT crooked. And I guess if you want to be "herd" then you should move your demanding carcass into a barn with a bunch of cows!

Must be you missed the "herd" reference! I'll explain it slowly... I think you meant to type "heard"

I'm not detecting much respect or intelligence in anything you post. "douchebag"???
Please, do Blevins a favor and buy a foreign car from a dealer outside of Gouverneur.

I do not own a car dealership, I do not work for Blevins, I am not related to anyone in the Blevins family (I think I've covered all the disclaimers required!). But it's attitudes such as Mike's that make it difficult to do business in Gouverneur. Smug, self-righteous, demanding, unreasonable, know-it-all or think they learned it all on the internet about a business and how the business should be run according to their schedule " customers". If you truly were cheated, then file a legal formal complaint. But if you just didn't get your way, then quit the spoiled, petulant child act and go away. This attitude is the result of our "entitlement" state, and one reason there are fewer small businesses in town. Blevins are NOT crooks and they do not screw anyone. And if you're going to make such outrageous accusations, then back it up with proof.

Well, now I'm home from vacay and find a post on Blevins, this makes my little heart sing. To start I'll deal with Blevins FORD... They are crooks, and yes I know someone that worked there, Dave likes to put other people aside to get his friends cars worked on, They put used parts in a ladies brand new truck and charged her for new ones, and really when was the last time it took someone 8 hours to change a slave cylinder? And yes I said worked there as in past tense, this person quit because they couldn't be as dishonest as the rest of them. And they did some work on a vehicle of mine, it went there three times and they still didn't change the part that it went in there for, complained to Dave and he told his service department to not work on my vehicle..how professional.

Team Blevins...I used to like them a lot, when Mitch was service manager. I took my car to them, asked them to look it over since I was going on a trip, they told me nothing was wrong my car was great. When I got home, 800 miles later, I took it to another garage because I still felt something not quite right. The mechanic came and got me, took me out to the shop and showed me that not only was my tire about to fall off, my brand new brake lines (which team blevins installed)were leaking, then begged me not to drive the car until I got it fixed, no matter where I decided to have it fixed. I went home, calmed down, then called Blevins. I took it back to them, was told first that they had forgotten to tighten the lines at the connection, and next time bring it back when they could charge me for something. I was in the mountains, that tire could have come off due to the bad ball joint and tie rod, and killed me and my family. I know quite a bit about cars, normally fix them myself, but that car is the worlds biggest pain to work on, so I take it to a garage with the hope that the person working on it knows something. I will NEVER set foot in a Blevins again.

I bought a used truck and recently had a fair amount of service done. Overall, the work appears to have been done well and done right. I will say that the not to exceed amount was exceeded, but they did forewarn me in advance. To the contrary, some of the parts estimated were not replaced so net-net I feel they were honest. This was not some 40 dollar repair bill either. You will find complaints about every dealer in every town since people like to bitch. I know one of the Blevins and I dislike his arrogance, but the people I dealt with seemed to have done a good job so far. Sure beats the rip off artist Henry at Parkway .....

My family has probably purchased 15/20 vehicles from blevins dodge in town and never had a single problem with them, they are AWESOME to us. Plus you should always keep your money local. Just an opinion.
