Then perhaps you should go back and look at the receipts with Christine's signature on them!

I hope all you "Mayor" Christopher Miller apologists are happy. How much more do you need to see before coming to grips with the facts about this guy? He's a con-man and a crook, and he's NEVER going to be anything else. Anybody who's still buying this "Woe is me, everybody else is the problem" crap that he's STILL trying push off on people is as crazy as he is.

I wonder how long "Dick" and the Tribune Press will continue insulting its readers by ignoring all of this? Shameful.

someone will have to prove where that money came from to give to miller, and if they say so-n-so loaned it to me, that person will have to prove where it came from.

some hand written receipt is what you're willing to bet on I don't think you get the big picture here I don't think this was all about realestate and if you don't think receipts don't get written everyday without the money actually changing hands than you need to open your eyes car dealers do it all the time with your trade in make it look like a larger down payment was placed in order to obtain financing come on now it's just paper it will lay there and let anybody wright on it

Well, if you are stupid enough to give a receipt WITHOUT getting the money, then you really ARE an idiot, Mayor!

Ya, I noticed when Dick and the Tribune Joke did a story on Jeff Spellicy ripping of the town, they CONVENIENTLY left out why the town attorney isn't doing anything about it.

The Tribune continues to neglect real news in the village and town of Gouverneur and does not provide the information that a newspaper should be providing to the taxpayers, citzens and buyers of the paper. Stories should be written on all pertinent news that affects daily lives, future plans and plain old curruption. They should not choose what is right and wrong for the people to read as they, themselves, can decide. Maybe they would see sales go up and maybe the village would get off their arses and be involved. The paper and news are looked to for their reporting. The Tribune continues to be scrutinized for its non-reporting of real events and continues to play second to the WTD who feels it is necessary to dig up and publish every play our Mayor makes. His bed was made by him so he must lay in it, but the WTD shoudl also make sure they are covering all politicians who are corrupt or would they end up looking like the Sunday paper???

@ Straight up - The Chris Miller story is "low hanging fruit". It's so blatant and obvious what's going on that it makes for a very easy story to tell. And an important one, as well, I would argue. Our chief "law enforcement officer" is a con-man and convicted criminal. I just hope people start to talk and ask their own questions about this man and his dealings both past and present, and also why they've never read a word to date about this in our local "newspaper".

@ Agreeing - You've raised an interesting question: Why DID the Tribune Press devote so much space to the Spellicy matter, while at the same time completely ignoring both the Miller and Peck stories? Very strange. Maybe Jeff owes the Tribune money for outstanding advertising bills? And I agree that more emphasis should have been placed on the role Mr. Leader played in this story. It's no secret that he and Jeff are, or at least were, great friends, so it comes as no surprise to me that Henry would use delay tactics to stall the Town and help his "buddy" out. My opinion of Henry Leader as an attorney is not very high. I have serious doubts about his abilities and his ethics.
Bingo was his name o

If the Tribune doesn't pick up on the WTD lead - they are even more worthless than I deem them to date. The paper has become a worthless example of a small town newspaper at best. The editor and staff should be working to sell papers and not just collect a paycheck for making the date of getting it out. The printing gained them all sorts of story time according to the story the editor did on it as he claimed it was simply a "click" to send it.
The other story about Jeff - I am not up to speed on as I quick buying the damn joke of a paper that takes all of 3 minutes to read over. I would guess that there is surly more to the story than meets the eye and Dick probably had a personal vendetta to post in "his" paper, rather than the whole store and the rest of the news. As Paul Harvey would say...Good day.

"ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y.-- After being in office for only nine months, Gouverneur Mayor Christopher Miller has submitted his resignation.

According to a source close to the issue, Miller resigned at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
We're told Miller is leaving his position because of his recent marriage and desire to relocate and that Miller was honored to serve his community."

Kyle Travis is a career criminal. If the police do there due diligence the will see that the receipts are forged. Kyle nor his mom has money. Kyle is a child molester no matter how you look at it. He can't keep a job and there is no way on earth he came up with money. He'll he is always late on the part of his rent dss doesn't pay for. Hopefully they get him for everything he is guilty of. False accusations, fraud, forgery. Report the deposit to the IRS and they will want to see the paper trail on where the money came from, which ms Travis will not be able to show that

Oh how people "LOVE" to conversate about me. Good or Bad, you are the ones that keep me famous!

If it isn't how i am a quote unquote "Child Molester" It's i am amazingly Gorgeous!!.. People will always have there own opinions about me, which they are entitled to have.(But in the end, they are only opinions)

See people only get half of a story when they read it in the paper, and for what you don't; you all make up with ignorance. I need not worry about making fraudulent accusations by no means. For what you do not know is that there was a signed and notarized contract between Mr.Miller and myself which was done in the presents of an Attorney. As for a paper trail, there is one, one that shows the dates, and the amounts. I really hate to be the one to deliver my devoted fans the enticingly bad news. But the existence of bank records and transfers, are more than sufficient to deliver the truth any day.

(But all is well that ends well)

How much more misconstrued can the truth come to be? Tune in next week to find out!

To all my fateful viewers, my loyal hatters, my fans, and my adoring Family and Friends; Thank you!

He did give him that money. There is proof. And it was not borrowed. He settled a lawsuit out of court and was rewarded handsomely.

ya know Kyle. If you send him a certified letter asking for a refund and he refuses to refund your (deposit) then you would have grounds to sue him. He will not be able to fight it. Like you said, You did everything legal, SO!! you have the right to ask for it back, if he refuses to pay you sue the shit out of him.
