Any good vets in the area? No not Tim because honestly his wife runs the place. I mean vets who do what is right for the animals not for the wife.

Bridgeport is another good vet also. They are located in Ogdensburg. These 2 vets also will work with you on payments to. You don't get denied care if you don't have the whole bill up front unlike monroe.

I agree with seriously, Canton animal clinic is fantastic! I recently started taking my dogs there and they were great, they even called me two days later to check on my dog to make sure he was doing better, you don't get that kind of service from any other vet around. Monroe is a joke! His prices are ridiculous, and he refused to treat one of my pets once because my sister owed him a bill. One visit to Canton animal clinic and I will never go anywhere else, the bill wasn't bad either, they did a lot of tests on my dog and came he home with five meds, for just over $100 bucks. That's fairly cheap compared to what I had been paying at my previous vet.

Once you are established Bridgeport will work with you and not before. They don't charge for an office visit unless your pet sees the vet.Monroe charges for visit and everyone, except Monroe's wife ,are very nice and wonderful with your pet's.It is worth the price to have compassionate care, just don't expect anything from the wife unless you are on her list.

I take my two dogs to canton animal clinic, I love them and my dogs love them...they do anything and everything to help! I Used to take my cat to ogdensburg..and I did not like them at all....they said that my cat was very healthy when clearly he wasn't..which is why I took him to the vet in the first place...so I took him to canton...and they found that he has an enlarged heart! So needles too say, I will not be going to ogdensburg every again!

I took my cat to Twinings for every year for shots. Then my cat got sick. Twining couldn't figure out what was wrong.
I took her to Canton, and they ran a blood test. My cat had feline leukemia. Twining's vaccine does NOT have leukemia in it. If your cat goes outside, better make sure it gets a leukemia shot.

I agree with you, I had the EXACT same thing happen at Twining's to my cat. Also I have a dog that I took to him due to his, how do I put this without being graphic, male parts being swollen to the size of a grapefruit. Twining told me that he had used them too much, what a joke. It was the first time we had bred him. I took him to a different vet for a second opinion, turns out he had cancer and it was a tumor the size of a grapefruit, I had him emergency neutered and he is still alive to this day. If I had listened to Twining he would have died in a matter of weeks.
