Dollar general

I went to dollar general tonight and the store was still open at 4 minutes till 9. three black women went to the store right in front of me. the store associate approached the door and let them in and as i reached for the door she smiled and locked it. The store associate was black and I am white. I am not prejudice either. Evendently she is.

Some of them have gotten' real rude to people.

i know they are getting really rude in there to the point of my family not even going unless we just have to have something such as toiletries right away

I totally agree with guest. I have started driving a few extra minutes and getting things at the Family Dollar by Save-A-Lot. I have noticed a HUGE difference the past couple of months at the Family Dollar and it is for the better! Not only is the store cleaner and you can actually walk down the aisles, but the girls that work there now are GREAT!! They DO NOT show a difference in white or black people; they treat everyone the same way which is like customers should be treated...with respect, kindness, etc., etc., etc. They are always smiling and willing to drop whatever they are doing to help out those needing it. Spend your money where it is appreciated and not where you are made to feel like you are bothering them.

i do agree it is cleaner and the ones working there are nicer but that black girl mistreated me.

the worse part is the lines and waiting time they have 2 registers but hardly ever use both

i watch the news daily and here in the past couple of months it seems like everyday the first 20 minutes they discuss shootings and roberies and every mug shot i seen and videos are all of blacks it just seems like they are out to get us since obama became president i wonder if any of this has to do with that

Who is US? Black folks are being robbed too. Criminals come in all shades of color. I think most of the ones doing it are on drugs.

i live down the road from there and everyone that works there is rude and mean. well not everyone but most. i think they should get new owners or close. they will start looseing people coming in if they keep it up. Every time i go in there everyone is rude so i just stoped.

hey.. i luvs my DG.. i spend every dime i can there... in an emergency thurs eve.. my 4 legged baby was ill.. after speaking to her vet.. thank GOD DOLLAR GEN.. was open. they had everything i needed. matter of fact we have been in there 3 times this week. but.. there ya go.. i speak to everybody.. a smile does wonders.. :) HAVE A BLESSED EVE.. Folks, Gosnell is fortunate to have a Dollar General here. I would rather put up with a few inconveniences that waste my time and gas driving to Blytheville when I only need a few items. At least we have another choice here other than the high-priced convenience stores.
