Group opposes scout center in Rockbridge County

A group has been formed to oppose plans for a national Boy Scouts center in Rockbridge County .

this is something goshen needs those that are opposing are those who have no reason to oppose it. this town has went down hill since the stillwater closed. we need this in the area before all that is left is a retirement village!!!what does goshen have now it sure would be great to work closer to home!!

the only folks that are opposing this issue are the "rich n famous" in lexington... send 'em back where they came from... goshen has always been the A*& of the county - ALWAYS. for goodness sakes the "ritzy" are wanting to protect a rare fly found in goshen pass but my suggestion to them is get out the swatters n bring in the scouts. Only good fly is the dead one that was crawling all over the food at the picnic in the pass. like the infamous garden club that wanted to protect the beauty of the pass and forbid the installation of guardrail thru the winding curves but what about protecting the children of goshen that are bused thru this gorge - we arent gonna protect them??? lexington has never done anything good for us and never will as long as we have those b#$%^ds over there. goshen needs to stand alone instead of keep takin the crap off of lexington...
