Woman Left For Four Nights In Washington County Courthouse Cell

A bailiff forgot to remove a defendant from a courthouse holding cell last week, forcing the woman to spend four nights in a locked room without food, water or a toilet, the Washington County Sheriff's Office ...

I am not sure if she has children or not. I think she does, but I am not sure if they are citizens. She is an illegal I know that and was arrested back in December on a charge of bootlegging (CDs and DVD's).

They told her they would withdraw all charges against her in exchange for her silence and to prevent a big lawsuit.
I hope she goes forward and sue the heartless jerk*ff who left her locked up for 4 days and nights without food, water or a toilet. This lawsuit will have nothing to do with her being Illegal or bootlegger it has to with Human Rights Violation which clearly she was the victim of this. Terrorists in Guantanamo are treated far better than this.

I totaly agree with you. You can't leave your animals unattended without food or water for that long without getting fined and/or possible jail time. This is a Human Rights issue. I was completely appauled at the handling of this situation. How can a person forget about another person? I think it is just a cop out.

There were 4 adults a I think 3 children envolved. I have been to the flea market where she was running her business and saw her booth. Someone beat me to the punch in turning them in.

This is a very busy courthouse. Popular belief is that Arkansas is nothing but inbred idiots is a falsehood; the result of inept stereotyping. There are close to 1 million people in the 30 mile radius, most of them are not native Arkansans. Washington County (where this took place) is the largest county popuation wise in Northwest Arkansas, thanks in part to Tyson, Walmart, etc. Both of which are headquartered out of Northwest Arkansas.
The fact that this woman was 'forgotten' about is the a first. How it could have happened remains a mystery. Was it right? NO! The baliff should be repromanded more severly than what he got.

Sorry to say this but, when minorities get different treatment than the rest of the population, that disrupts our "equality." That doesn't just mean how some minorities get treated more poorly than other people. It also means, these special racial scholarships have to go, the minority quotas for employment has to go. All citizens should be treated equally, regardless of our skin color and as such all should be judged by the merits or wrongs of their own actions and not their demographic group. That is equality, not this farce we have now.
