I find myself contradicted, as I am a supporter of the death penalty. Is it a worse punishment to have to wake up every morning knowing you are the person responsible for taking two lives? Would Mr. Decay wake up thinking this? Or is he waking up simply regretting he got caught?

Mr Decay was given the chance to wake every morning and think about what he had done. He thought about it April 3, 2008. He was thinking clear enough to wipe the finger prints off, also pick up only one of the shell caseings, not both because he was trying to cover his ass! You can't try and think like a murderer. They have a different mentality than "normal" people. I know for a fact that he could have chose Life without parole, There are only two ways to punish someone who has been found guilty of two counts of capital murder, Death or Life Without Parole. Do we really care what color of skin someone has? I know that I don't, I wonder how Kevin and Kendall would feel if we could ask them what they wanted his punishment to be?

now im not saying tu was right...and my heart goes out to all victims in this crime. but people look at the facts. they were all smokers and drinkers and we don't know what happened. and the fact about new orleans as a people, who are you to judge us?

That is where my concern lies, as hypocritical as it sounds. Again, I am a supporter of the death penalty. This was a heinous crime that Mr.Decay has confessed to committing yet, I can't help but feel like the death penalty is wrong. I feel horrible for thinking that way, parents lost their children that are loved. I cannot bear to imagine losing mine. Does another parent have to lose a child? Even if her son's stupidity lead to the punishment.

Decay Friend, We do know what happened, the slurs about New Orleans people is horrible, but if you know "tu", why don't you give him a call and ask him what really went down? I know I would like to have that question answered. I thought "tu" had been sober for a few weeks prior, oh but that was another one of his lies, just like the stolen gun he murdered them with. You should have been at the trial, then some of your questions would have been answered, he murdered them, now he has to pay the price for killing two people. It is just that simple!

And most of our SOLDIERS are fighting for tuition and bonus money and all the goverment offers. They are probably checking their account to make sure their direct deposit came in right now. My brother is currently on his 3rd tour in Mosul (one of the most dangerous places in Iraq) and let me tell YOU decay friend... he is NOT there for tuition and/or bonus money. He volunteered to be there each time because he feels it is his responsibility to help those in need and to fight for our rights. Sure, I would love for him to come home, considering he hasn't been home for longer than 2 weeks since the war started in 2001 but I at least know if he dies over there, he fought until death and with honor and he WILL be going to Heaven to join Kevin and Kendall. Decay Friend What is it that you do for a living? Just wondering. Did you know your friend was a drug dealer? I didn't, not till you told us, and what does smoking pot have to do with the fact that there are two people dead, and your friend in prision. He killed two people. what I do for a living? i use my thoughts to create my jobs. therefore, i make a living with my mind. to inspire others, that's what i do. im an inspirer. I thank God for that. I have never heard that drugs and guns were brothers. I guess you and I see things in very different perspectives.

We all know you can not call a convicted murderer, but you can write to your brother everyday if you wish. Let me tell you what I think. When I started reading your post, i said, detective has sense. Then I read the next sentence and you really let me down. You really did. Actually, i was in College when the goverment checks came and left. And honestly, they stopped helping a while back. And please be careful how you use the word drawing, my city lost a lot.
