Whatever came about in the case of Milledgeville Police detective Mark Bell III? Last news posted was about him being caught moonlighting in an all male gloree hole business on the outskirts of town. This was awhile back. Any updates?

Ms Rayburn, Don't know where you get ya information from. Officer Bell hasn't been a detective in over a year. He was moved to an Administrative Officer position for failure to report a violation committed by one of his detectives he supervised.

Really sad how people get on blogs and make irresponsible statements about people/issues they know nothing about.

don't know whether bell did this or not. don't really know bell. I can remember well though before Blue was Herman Waller, one of the biggest crooks ever to police in the town in my opinion. not many of you will go that far back I imagine.

You are entitled to see all closed investigative files under the GA Open Records Act, OCGA 50-18-70. All of them. They must respond within 3 days of receiving your written request and if they refuse, they must cite the code and reason for the refusal. If you don't like it, you can take them to Court and WIN, everytime and get attorneys fees in deal.If you want to see and know something, ASK.

I didn't hear anything about him doing donkey porn, but i did hear that he has put several civilians in compromised positions, not necessarily sexual. He's a disturbed and dangerous individual, and should never be in a position of authority!

I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned. But how on earth did he manage to pass a DOT let alone Police physical all these years? He must weigh over 400 lbs, at times he's been even larger.

also, he was demoted from chief of detectives for not reporting a hostile work environment purveyed by a male detective against a female detective. Even if he can squeak through his JD and pass the Bar is this someone you'd want representing you?? I think not
